The Advanced Sequencing Batch Reactor (ASBR) is the optimum biological process solution for most wastewater treatment problems in domestic, municipal, and industrial plants. The system has been successfully used for small and medium scale applications, as well as for large scale municipalities. ASBR is also applicable for use in the modular expansion, retrofit, or upgrading of existing facilities and the pre-treatment of high strength industrial wastes. They are supplied customized to our requirements by our Canadian principals AWT Technologies.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) is used in our stock and custom-made reverse osmosis water treatment systems to purify water by removing salts, contaminants and other impurities. Our full line of Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Systems are available with a wide range of capacities. Our standard reverse osmosis are ideal in municipal, commercial, and industrial settings. These unique systems are the backbone of the water treatment industry. Reverse Osmosis is a natural process which forcing a solvent from a region of high concentration through a semi permeable membrane to a region of low solute concentration by applying in excess of the osmotic pressure. Osmosis describes how solvent moves between two solutions separate by a permeable membrane to reduce concentration differences between the solutions. When two solutions with different concentrations of a solute are mixed, the total amount of solutes in the two solutions will be equally distributed in the total amount of solvent from the two solutions. Instead of mixing the two solutions together, they can be put in two compartments where they are separated from each other by a semi permeable membrane. The semi permeable membrane does not allow the solutes to move from one compartment to the other, but allows the solvent to move. It is the latest technology to remove all excess total dissolved solids, chemicals in water up to 95%. It removes Bacteria and virus to a level of 99%++. It restores the original taste and quality of water. Other purification methods have no effect on TDS level of water.
Seawater reverse osmosis systems are used to eliminate large amounts of salt and other minerals from sea water using a method called Reverse Osmosis. Reverse Osmosis consists of employing a high pressure pump on the salty water, forcing it through semi-permeable membranes, while denying salts and other organics from flowing through. The ocean’s specific TDS and its temperature indicated the amount of pressure that needs to be added. The membranes are only tasked to remove dissolved solids while dividing the feed water into purified water and rejected concentrated salts. The salts and other contaminants are rejected into the brine stream then discarded. At the end we have purified water that has 99% less dissolved salts. These sea water reverse osmosis systems have the power to purify extremely high TDS water.
Advancements in water treatment technology have affected all areas of industrial water treatment. Although mechanical filtration, such as reverse osmosis, is widely employed to filter contaminants, other technologies including the use of ozone generators, wastewater evaporation and bioremediation are also able to address the challenges of industrial wastewater treatment.
