Metal parts packaged with VpCI-130 Series Foams receive
continuous protection against humidity, condensation, aggressive
industrial atmospheres, dissimilar metal corrosion (galvanic
corrosion), salt air, and residual impurities left after processing.

Cortec VpCI Super Penetrant offers a deep penetrating
formulation that loosens frozen parts locked in rust. Its deep
penetrating capabilities allow the user to go through as much as
12 inch (13 mm) of rust in 30 minutes. VpCI Super Penetrant
can be applied by a variety of convenient methods to meet any
application needs including brush, hand pump spray, aerosol,
spray application, or dipping.
As VpCI Super Penetrant breaks through deep rust, it displaces
moisture and water. Its superior surface wetting and moisture
displacing properties allow it to spread rapidly and get underneath
the moisture layer normally present on metal under atmospheric
conditions. While loosening the rust, it lubricates metal so frozen
parts can move freely. Utilizing patented Cortec VpCI technology,
the VpCI Super Penetrant forms an ultra thin film on metal that
offers 6 months of protection from corrosion in extreme conditions.
Cortec VpCI Super Penetrant can be used for indoor and outdoor
applications. Its superior water displacing characteristics make it
an ideal choice for applications on equipment and components
that are exposed to outside weather. It also conforms to Federal
Specifications for VV-P-216 Penetrating Oil for Loosening Frozen
Metallic Parts and ASTM D-971 Test for Interfacial Tension of Oil
against water.

VpCI-377 is a water-based concentrate designed as a complete
replacement for oil-based preventives for indoor protection of
equipment and components. VpCI-377 is a corrosion preventive
liquid that meets tough anti-pollution requirements. The wide
dilution range with water (0.5-20%)* allows flexibility to customize
the length of protection required and the applied cost per square
foot (or m2).
VpCI-377 forms a solution in water and is applied to metal
surfaces by spraying or dipping. In many cases, VpCI-377 does
not always need to be removed, but if necessary, can be removed
with conventional alkaline cleaners, such as Cortec VpCI-414.
VpCI-377 is also available in a cold weather version. VpCI-
377 Winterized has a lower freezing point for the convenience of
application and storage in cold temperataures.

CorrVerter is a water-based primer recommended for application
to rusty or poorly prepared steel surfaces where further corrosion
protection is required and good surface preparation is difficult to
achieve. CorrVerter is formulated to penetrate rust, eliminate rust,
penetrate to the bare metal, and stop further rusting.
CorrVerter contains a novel chemical chelating agent that modifies
the surface rust into a hydrophobic passive layer. CorrVerter
combines the above mentioned chelating agent with a high solids
waterborne latex with extremely low water vapor permeability. The
combination of the active chelating agent with a film-forming latex,
thickeners and dispersant offers a unique formulation for a primer
with excellent protection against re-rusting.
CorrVerter does not contain tannic or phosphoric acids, provides
long-term corrosion protection for poorly prepared substrates, and
can be topcoated with solvent-based and water-based paints with
no bleeding. For outdoor applications VpCI-386 or VpCI-387 can
be utilized. For indoor applications, VpCI-396 may also be used.
The combination of CorrVerter and VpCI-396 provides the
best immersion coating for submersion in water, salt water, hydro
carbons, and high salinity water

VpCI-322 oil-based concentrate adds corrosion protection
to lubricating or hydraulic oils. VpCI-322 provides excellent
protection in indoor or open air conditions. First, oil-soluble
corrosion inhibitors offer a tenacious film which clings to metal
surfaces, giving excellent contact corrosion protection. In addition
to this film barrier, VpCI-322 releases Vapor phase Corrosion
Inhibitors (VpCI) into the air above the oil. These VpCIs attach to
metal surfaces for additional corrosion protection.

Ecofog VpCI-337 is a ready-to-use waterborne vapor corrosion
inhibitor used primarily for robust preservation of internal void
spaces. It is a complete replacement for nitrogen blanketing
and dry air systems that are both expensive to install and
maintain. Nitrogen blankets are also a health hazard to
personnel entering the interiors. The Vapor phase Corrosion
Inhibitors (VpCI) in Ecofog VpCI-337 migrate and protect metal
surfaces, resulting in time and cost savings. The Ecofog VpCI-
337 is used to fog void spaces, tanks, containers, packages,
and enclosures. These labor-saving techniques use a minimum
of product to protect large areas or volumes. Ecofog VpCI-
337 is effective on ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well
as aluminum, plated steels, and copper. Ecofog VpCI-337
is consistently successful in providing protection to the basic
metals, metalworking, and packaging industries.
In most cases, products protected by Ecofog VpCI-337 are
ready-to-use; no degreasing or stripping is necessary by most
end users. The metal will retain a clean, rust-free surface. In
most cases, the thin protective film will not affect paintability,
conductivity, appearance, or any other important property of
metals or alloys.
Ecofog VpCI-337 is also available in a cold weather version.
Ecofog VpCI-337 Winterized has a lower freezing point for the
convenience of application and storage in cold temperatures.

VpCI-391 is a water-borne, temporary coating that is
intended for medium to long-term indoor and outdoor
protection.
Once dried, VpCI-391 builds a non-tacky transparent film on
the metal surface that provides excellent salt, humidity, and
UV resistance.
This product, being a complex mixture of non-toxic organic
inhibitors incorporated in a water-based acrylic polymer,
offers corrosion protection that can compete with most
permanent coatings and primers.

VpCI-386 is a unique water-based acrylic primertopcoat
that successfully provides protection in harsh, outdoor,
unsheltered applications. The complex mixture of nontoxic
organic inhibitors offers protection that can compete
with most paints and zinc-rich primers.
VpCI-386 is superior to many coatings with inorganic
pigments because the resistance has been improved by
replacing pigments and metal oxides with more effective
organic corrosion inhibitors. The special combination
of additives provides a composite polymer barrier that
significantly retards the reaction of metal ionization.
A protective film is adsorbed onto metal surfaces. It
protects against corrosive electrolytes and aggressive
environments; preventing corrosion.
VpCI-386 provides a fast-drying thixotropic coating
that is resistant to sagging or running, forming a tough,
non-flammable, protective barrier. This dry-to-touch
film offers extended protection for outdoor or indoor
conditions. Thermally stable when dried from -150F
to 350F (-78C to 180C). The coating is ultraviolet
resistant giving optimal outdoor performance without
cracking or chipping upon prolonged exposure to
sunlight.
VpCI-386 is also available in a cold weather versionVpCI-386
Winterized.
VpCI-386 Winterized was developed to withstand Freeze
Thaw damage during transportation in cold temperatures
down to -0 (-18C) passing 3 FreezeThaw cycles.

M-529 is an oil-based package of corrosion inhibitors for
lubricating oils. M-529 provides excellent corrosion protection
during operating conditions and intermittent operation.
M-529M-529 L are very effective for mineral and synthetic
based oils: napthenic, iso-paraffinic, PAOs, etc.
M-529 L additionally contains an EP lubricity package and is
recommended for lubriciating oil when EP lubricity is needed, such
as gears or transmissions.

ElectriCorr VpCI-239 is a multifunctional outdoor
cleanercorrosion protector. Its continuous Vapor
phase Corrosion Inhibitor action saves money by
extending product life and eliminating downtime due to
corrosion. ElectriCorr VpCI-239 forms a very thin film
proven effective against aggressive conditions including
industrial, marine, and tropical regions. This film does
not alter the electrical resistance or magnetic properties
of metal substrates. ElectriCorr VpCI-239 can be safely
applied for the corrosion protection of electronic circuits
or relays without causing any significant changes in
conductivity. ElectriCorr VpCI-239 can be safely used
with most plastics, elastomers, and other non-metallics.
In addition to corrosion protection, ElectriCorr VpCI-239
is an excellent contact cleaner of oils, grime, and other
contaminants.
ElectriCorr VpCI-239 is an effective outdoor inhibitor of
galvanic corrosion for most metals and alloys normally
found in electrical and electronic applications such as
aluminum, copper, tin, and ferrous metals.
ElectriCorr VpCI-239 is free of CFCs and 1, 1, 1-
Trichlorethane. Provides instant corrosion protection.
In severely corrosive environments, ElectriCorr VpCI-
