You can connect your regular analogue line (PSTN/POTS*) to the Line port of Vigor2830Vn. While you enable VoIP facility, you still can access fixed line (analogue line) to make calls just by dialing #0. The phone connected to Line port and two FXS ports can be used for both analogue calls and VoIP calls because the incoming calls are automatically switched through to your telephone(s) (either one or both). As a result, both analogue telephones plugged into your router allow you to access VoIP and analogue line. Furthermore, you can set rules through "Digit Map" function about particular call destinations using either your SIP/VoIP service or the POTS line. e.g. you can route local calls via your PSTN line (if you have a free calls package) whereas international calls go via your preferred VoIP provider; there is flexibility to have several Digit Map rules.

MPSec MSG4000 series product adopts the concurrent multi-core processor technology. Meanwhile, MSG4000-X1/G6/G4adopts the high-speed switching bus inside, which improves the security processing performance at the application layer and provides the professional high-performance hardware platform for the network application security.
Meanwhile, the 64-bit real-time security operation system MP SecOS developed by Maipu adopts the multi-processor concurrent structure, which is different from the common multi-processor or NP/ASIC only responsible for forwarding the layer-3 packets. MP SecOS realizes the multi-core concurrent processing from the network layer to the application layer.

MSG4000 series product provides the hardware speedup for VPN (including SSL VPN). Maipu security gateway has the special plug-and-play VPN. The 2N NetSpeaker is an IP audio system that enables acoustic communication or other audio stream to be played from a given PC in a LAN/WAN network. FXS (Foreign Exchange Station)FXS is an interface that connects to a station, such as an analog telephone or the FXO interface of another PBX. It provides ringing voltage and battery to the FXO devices. FXS interfaces are used on the inside of your PBX; they do not connect directly to the PSTN. One FXS channel is required for each telephone that you wish to connect to your Asterisk system.
FXO (Foreign Exchange Office)FXO is an interface that connects to a trunk line, like the one from your service provider. It receives ringing voltage and battery from FXS devices. FXO interfaces are used to connect your PBX to the PSTN. One FXO channel is required for each line you receive from your telco
FXS modules provide ringing voltage and battery to telephones or handsets and require substantial amount of 12V DC power in order to operate properly. The PCI interface on motherboards cannot provide sufficient quantities of this voltage necessary to ring 4, 8 or 24 modules. As a solution, Digium analog cards are mounted with a 4-pin disk-drive or Molex connector on the base board. This connector must be supplied with an internal power connector from the system's power supply if FXS modules are in use. For systems without available internal 12V power connectors, the PWR2400B is the solution. The PWR2400B provides the 12V DC power to analog interface cards that is necessary to drive FXS modules. FXO modules do not provide ring voltage or battery and thus do not require any external power resources.
