A highest quality poly carbonate plastic panel shutter with 100% transparency. The slats are made of multiple 83mm x 300mm x 3.7mm thick uv treated poly-carbonate panels assembled in extruded aluminum alloy hinges to form a roll-able shutter curtain. Reinforced ribs provide high impact strength and prevent the panels from getting scratched or damaged as the slats roll over each other. The hinge strips are made out of extruded aluminum in powder coated finish. The side rails are cold roll formed to form a U shape with strengthening ribs, by using 1mm thick superior g.i. Steel. Two pvc strips mounted on the lips of the guides provides noiseless and grease-less operation. A concealed locking plate is mounted inside the side rail for safe locking.

In a fire, non-insulated fire shutters prevent the spread of flame, but are still red hot and radiate heat on the other side. Our insulated fire shutters are designed to prevent the spread of fire while ensuring the temperature on the other side is still safe. The shutter curtain is made of two nos. Of roll formed, 80mm pitch by 22 mm deep by 0.8 mm thick superior galvanizedzincalume steel slats. Two roll formed interlocking slat profiles run along the entire length of the shutter without splices, creating a double walled slat mineral wool of a minimum density of 80 kgm3 is used, which provides thermal insulation along with an acoustic insulation of approximately 27db to 35db. All fire shutters shall be equipped with thermal fusible link mechanism. Upon sensing the heat of 74 (degc), the fusible link mechanism shall release the brake of the motor and allow it to descend by gravity. In cases where the fire shutters are needed to be activated by fire alarm signal, a dual fusible link called the ers-400 (electric solenoid releaser) shall be employed. Upon receipt of 24v dc, 400 ma, normally open fire alarm signal, the device would release the brake of the motor and allow the shutter to descend by gravity �even� under complete power failure condition.

Heavy duty non-fire rated roller shutters are vertical rolling shutters constructed from interlocked zincalume steel lath sections. These shutters are more commonly used in warehouses, factories, industrial units and loading areas with large openings or strict demands for security. They can be motorized or manually operated and can be fitted with optional extras to provide additional wind and rain resistance where necessary. The shutter curtain is made of 75mm or 100mm pitch and 17mm wide superior single skin zincalume steel slats, with thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 1.2mm. These slats are manufactured by a roll forming process and constructed of reinforced interlocking slat profiles. The edges of the slats are auto cut-off to (end)lock the axial movement of the interlocked curtains, providing maximum strength and integrity. For external applications, the shutters can withstand a 40 kmh wind speed, with wind locks as optional reinforcement with optional extras such as safety edge: the safety edge is fitted to the base of the bottom bar and stops downward travel of the curtain when obstructed and automatically reverses the travel. The moment the safety edge touches an obstruction, the pressure switch activates the logic control of the motor remotely without the need of cables, and reverses the direction of the motor.
