To provide shade is one thing but to make sure it's aesthetically pleasing, well engineered and safe is another matter entirely. Gebal has an in house shade engineer with many years experience in this field which means we can not only offer a design service but also the engineering calculations and installation. This is another free service Gebal offers, we have trained consultants that will either visit your site or work from your CAD plans to recommend a design that would maximise the shade coverage in a safe and attractive way. We offer various fabrics for shade structures including PTFE, PVC and HDPE.

Play areas are designed for children not only to have fun but also to exercise in an exciting environment, these criteria are essential but so is safety! The use of shock-absorbent rubber flooring beneath play equipment is necessitated by the requirements of DIN EN 1177:2008. For every play area we design we take into consideration the rubber flooring requirements and work with renowned suppliers for rubber tiles and in situ seamless rubber flooring otherwise known as wetpour. We can advise you the thickness of the rubber flooring required for your play area by means of the HIC (Head Injury Criterion) method giving you piece of mind that your play area will be in accordance to DIN EN 1177:2008.

BIRCO was founded in 1927 in Germany as a coal and building materials supplier. As early as the 1950s, the first concrete drainage channels were produced for agricultural use. In 1965 BIRCO was the first German producer of a concrete channel covered with a mesh grating. Today BIRCO is amongst the leading suppliers of channel systems in Europe.
The BIRCO channel systems for surface drainage and discharge of aggressive liquids are made of vibrated pressed concrete, steel, and PE, and cover a wide range of uses from areas frequented by heavy-duty vehicles through landscaping to roof terraces. From nominal width 100 mm to 1000 mm and up to load class F900 KN, Drainage at its best! The BIRCO technical team is also based in Dubai since 2013 in order to provide engineering added value calculations and supervise the most efficient installation on UAE sites together with Gebal engineering team.
BIRCO also offers an infiltration system which allows the infiltration of storm water with the use of only little space. They include slotted cast gratings, cast mesh gratings, mesh gratings with various mesh widths, slotted and perforated gratings, as well as design-gratings such as the "Wave" and "Ellipse" cast gratings.

Quality is paramount for us which is why we selected to work with manufacturers from around the world that are internationally renowned for innovation, longevity and expertise. We understand selecting play equipment to suit a project whether it be for a school, public realm or private villa sometimes can't be easy if experience in this field is limited. For this reason we employ play consultants with years of experience in play equipment and offer a free consultation service. Our consultants will visit your site and give advice regarding play equipment to suit your project criteria taking into consideration the age of the children, budget, size of area and inclusivity. After the site visit our consultant feeds the information to our in house design team who will then produce a 3D render of the play area for you to review. To complete our full turnkey solution we employ our own site teams who all have extensive experience in play equipment installation.
