Ice Cream

Ice cream is a frozen sweet food made of milk, cream, and sugar; with fruit, nuts, chocolate, etc. added to it; typically eaten as a snack or dessert. The meaning of the phrase "ice cream" varies from one country to another. Phrases such as "frozen custard", "frozen yogurt", "sorbet", "gelato" and others are used to distinguish different varieties and styles. In some countries, such as the United States, the phrase "ice cream" applies only to a specific variety, and products that do not meet the criteria to be called ice cream are labeled "frozen dairy dessert" instead. In other countries, such as Italy and Argentina, one word is used for all variants. Ice cream may be served in dishes, for eating with a spoon, or in cones, which are licked. Ice cream may be served with other desserts, such as apple pie. Ice cream is used to prepare other desserts, including ice cream floats, sundaes, milkshakes, ice cream cakes and even baked items.

Polymers

  • Country of Origin India
  • Type Polymer Insulators

Polymers

are substances containing a large number of smaller, identical molecules (called monomers) linked together. These substances often form into a chain-like structure. Polymers have extremely high molecular weights and the chains may differ from one another in their molecular weights.

Today, the polymer industry has grown to be larger than the aluminum, copper and steel industries combined.

Polymers already have a wide range of applications that far exceeds that of any other class of material available. Current applications extend from adhesives, coatings, foams, and packaging materials to textile and industrial fibers, composites, electronic devices, biomedical devices, optical devices, and precursors for many newly developed high-tech ceramics.

Chocolate Toffee Confectionery

Confectionery

Confectionery is the art of making confections, which are food items that are rich in sugar and carbohydrates. Exact definitions are difficult. In general, though, confectionery is divided into two broad and somewhat overlapping categories, flour confections and sugar confections. Flour confectionery, also called bakers' confections, includes principally sweet pastries, cakes, biscuits, and similar baked items. Sugar confectionery includes chocolates, toffees, candies, candied nuts, chewing gum, bubble gum, pastille, and other confections that are made primarily of sugar. In some cases, chocolate confections are treated as a separate category, as are sugar-free versions of sugar confections. Internationally speaking, there are some other common words for sugar confections e.g. candies, sweets, etc.

Fruit Juice

Fruit Juice

Juice is the liquid that comes from fruit and vegetables, or a drink that is made from this. Juice is a beverage made from the extraction or pressing of the natural liquid contained in fruit and vegetables. It is commonly consumed as a beverage or used as an ingredient or flavoring in foods or other beverages. Juice is generally prepared by mechanically squeezing fruit or vegetable flesh without the application of heat or solvents; e.g. orange juice. Many commercial juices are filtered to remove fiber or pulp, but high-pulp fresh orange juice is a popular beverage. Additives are put in some juices, such as sugar and artificial flavors (in some fruit juice-based beverages). Common methods for preservation and processing of fruit juices include canning, pasteurization, concentrating, freezing, evaporation, and spray drying.

Concentrated Fruit Juice

Concentrated fruit juice is processed to remove a defined proportion of the natural water content found in the fruit and produces a product that is approximately 3 to 7 times more concentrated and therefore smaller in volume. Some concentrates are able to be stored for longer and at more convenient temperatures. This can greatly reduce the costs required for transportation of equivalent volumes of concentrate, which can then be returned to its single-strength state by reconstituting with water once it reaches the final processing destination.

Tomato Paste

Tomato paste

Tomato paste is a thick paste made by cooking tomatoes for several hours to reduce the water content, straining out the seeds and skins, and cooking the liquid again to reduce the base to a thick, rich concentrate. By contrast, tomato pure is a liquid with a consistency between crushed tomatoes and tomato paste that is made from tomatoes that have been briefly boiled and strained. Based on the manufacturing conditions, the paste can be the basis for making ketchup or reconstituted tomato juice.

Hamicos five purpose-built production lines, adjacent to tomato farms of different areas nationwide, provides a range of tomato paste products in diverse packing and varied brix from the lowest to the strongest.

Honey

Honey

Honey is a sweet sticky substance produced by bees and used as food. Bees produce honey from the sugary secretions of plants (floral nectar) through regurgitation, enzymatic activity, and water evaporation. Honey is stored in wax structures called honeycombs. Modern commercial production of honey in Iran on the one hand and its increasing consumption on a global scale on the other hand has encouraged us to connect local beekeepers and domestic producers of honey to the international markets.

Honey gets its sweetness from the monosaccharaides fructose and glucose, and has about the same relative sweetness as sucrose (granulated sugar). It has attractive chemical properties for baking and a distinctive flavour when used as a sweetener. Most microorganisms do not grow in honey, so sealed honey does not spoil, even after thousands of years.

Pistachio

Whole green kernels

This type of Kernels is taken from trees when the pistachios are still raw and not reached the standard level of maturity, this is the reason for being green. This type of Iranian pistachio kernels is normally taken between July and August. This type can be graded depending on the percentage of raw color that is differentiated as green; therefore if it is completely raw with low percentage of red kernels it approves good quality.

Whole Kernels

Whole pistachios kernel is One the flavorful pistachios with reddish appearance which its fresh flavor made it as a delicious Natural and useful snack for everyone.

Halves & Pieces

Pistachio Meats Halves & Pieces from Arcade Snacks are raw pistachios that are vibrant green, and naturally opened. Pistachios have high nutritional value and are a healthy snack. The halves and pieces are a great size for cooking and baking.

Small Meats

Kalleh Ghouchi

This nut is famous for being large. It is sensitive to shortage of water and its leaves are complex. This type of nut is vulnerable to cold weather in spring. It can be harvested in mid-September. On the whole Kalleh Ghouchi is not being budded anymore and production is from existing trees. Although commercially quite successful, Kalleh Ghouchi trees showed a steep drop in growth and production as they grew older than 40 years old. It is expected that the production would slowly decline. Available sizes are 20/22, 22/24 and 24/26, with 18/20 being available in small quantities.

Long Akbari

This type is the highest economic value. Its fruits are large and almond shaped. It can be harvested in late September. This is a newer variety with good yield and with long, large nuts.

Long Ahmadi Aghaei

This nut is rather large and its fruit is almond shaped. It can be harvested in late September. The newest commercial variety, very popular with the farmers, because of high yield and its shorter time to reach production. It is very popular in some markets like India and Greece. Production of this variety is increasing. It also has the whitest shell hue among the four.

Round (Fandoghi)

This cultivar is the most widely available pistachio variety and grows in most pistachio growing areas of Iran. Fandoghi is of round type and has the lowest shape index among the four cultivars. In recent years, around 50% of Iranian production is of the Fandoghi type. The reason is its limited yield; the new orchards are seldom planted with this variety. It comes in the following sizes 28/30, 30/32 and 32/34 nuts per ounce. Size 26/28 is also available in small quantities.

Gilsonite

GILSONITE FOR OIL DRILLING

Gilsonite is used to control API and HTHP fluid loss in the oil base drilling fluid. when mixed with organophilic clays, it is particular grind size and softening point are ideal for reducing whole mud losses to the formation .Gilsonite pulverized is only partially soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons.

Gilsonite Pulverized is relatively stable and of low hazard. however, it should not be stored or used near strong oxidizing agents such as chlorates, nitrates or peroxides. Excessive dust is subject to combustion or explosion upon contact with spark or open flame and should be minimized. use good industrial hygiene practice to avoid eye and excess skin contract. Wear a protective dust mask and goggles when handling and mixing.

Availability

Gilsonite is available in 22.68kg(50LBS)25Kg-50Kg-100Kg-1000Kg muli-wall paper sacks or jumbo bag.

Recommended treatment

Gilsonite should be added a rate of 10-30Kg/m3

GILSONITE FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION/ASPHALT/PAVING

Gilsonite is used as a performance-enhancing agent for asphalt mixes. Gilsonite-modified paving mixes achieve higher PG grades and incorporate perfectly into the asphalt blend with no need for high shear milling as is the case with many other modifiers. Gilsonite can partially or totally replace, or complement, the use of SBS polymers in modified asphalts at a fraction of the cost. Gilsonite-modified asphalts have higher stability, reduced deformation, reduced temperature susceptibility and increased resistance to water stripping than non-modified asphalts. Gilsonite is also used to make both solvent-based and emulsion pavement sealers with superior appearance and weathering properties.

GILSONITE FOR ROOF ISOLATION/INSULATION/MEMBRANE SHEET

Gilsonite is used in roofing materials primarily as an agent to lower the penetration of petroleum asphalt without aging or oxidizing the base asphalt. Lowering the penetration of the base asphalt in this way allows the base asphalt to maintain some of its flexibility while at the same time maximizing the asphalt's ability to withstand high temperatures without softening. Gilsonite is also used as a modifier to reach roofing specifications when air-blowing facilities are not available.

Gilsonite is also used by a number of manufacturers producing patching materials for roofing. Gilsonite is used to modify the patching materials and is distributed in containers to retail customers. Using Gilsonite as a modifier allows the product to remain pliable until applied, after which it permanently attaches to the treated surface

GILSONITE FOR INK, PAINT AND COAT

The paint applications, Gilsonite is usually used in combination with bitumen (asphalt). In most cases, if Gilsonite is used alone, the final paint will be very hard and brittle after drying. If normal straight-run bitumen is used alone, the finished paint is too soft and tacky. Therefore, a combination of Gilsonite and bitumen is used to achieve the desired hardness (penetration) and drying time of the finished paint. In addition to imparting hardness to the paint, Gilsonite is also increasing the paint's: (1) adhesion; (2) gloss; (3) chemical resistance; (4) water resistance; and (5) body. For hardness, Gilsonite has a zero (0) penetration (at 25C; 100 gm, 5 sec.) compared to the 60-70 pen, 80-100 pen or softer bitumens commonly available from petroleum companies or asphalt manufacturers. Approximately 90% of all bitumen is used for road construction and these hardness grades are acceptable for that purpose. However, they are too soft by themselves for the manufacture of paint and surface coatings which require hardness values around 5 penetration for acceptable paint drying. Paint films composed of bitumen alone are tacky if the penetration is more than 10, and are brittle if less than 4.

GILSONITE FOR FOUNDRY

Physical Sand properties with Gilsonite resin are equal or superior to sea coal at significantly lower additive levels. Gilsonite improves sand density, water requirements and strength (green, dry, baked, and hot). Gas evolution curves show that Gilsonite volatilizes more rapidly than sea coal. Gilsonite has the same total volatiles as seacoal at one-third the additive level.

Gypsum Rock

Gypsum Rock (CaSO4.2H2O)

Gypsum is a soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dehydrate, with the chemical formula CaSO42H2O. and as the main constituent in many forms of gypsum plaster, stucco, plaster of Paris, blackboard chalk and wallboard, gypsum board, cement factory, other chemical industries. The mineral gypsum precipitated some 100 to 200 million years ago when sea water evaporated. From a chemical point of view, it is calcium sulphate dehydrate (CaSO4.2H2O) deposited in sedimentary layers on the sea bed. Under high pressure and temperature gypsum turns into anhydrite (CaSO4). In nature, gypsum and anhydrate occur as beds or nodular masses up to a few meters thick. Gypsum is formed by the hydration of anhydrite (CaSO4). The depth of hydration can range from the surface of the deposit down to three hundred meters, depending on temperature and pressure, topography and the structure of the deposit. Anhydrite is often mined in conjunction with gypsum, but is comparatively limited in its technical applications. The content of gypsum in sedimentary rock varies from 75% to 95%, the rest being clay and chalk. Pure gypsum is a white rock but sometimes impurities color it grey, brown or pink. Its scientific name is calcium sulphate dehydrate and its chemical formula is CaSO42H2O. This means that, for every molecule of gypsum, there are two molecules of water. This is a most important fact in the gypsum story. If a piece of gypsum is ground to powder and heated, it will lose about three quarters of its water. If this powder is then mixed with water, the paste or slurry will set rock hard. The chemically-combined water, previously removed, has re-combined and the material has reverted to the original composition of the rock. The most important applications of gypsum are in the production of plaster, plasterboards, gypsum fiberboard and gypsum blocks. The mineral forms the basis of a large industry processing a wide range of building products. Synthetic gypsum is now more widely used in the manufacture of plasterboard and gypsum fiberboards. Natural gypsum is especially suitable for the manufacture of building plasters because it contains clays that improve the workability of the plaster. High-purity natural gypsum is also used to produce special plasters, for example for use as plaster molds in the pottery industry and for surgical and dental work. Small quantities of high-purity gypsum are also used in confectionary, food, the brewing industry, pharmaceuticals, in sugar beet refining, as cat litter and as an oil absorbent. Last, but not least, gypsum has been used for more than 200 years as a soil amendment and fertilizer. Indeed, it improves water penetration and workability of impermeable sodic alkali soils; it softens soils with a high clay content; it helps neutralize soil acidity; and it adds plant nutrients: Calcium and Sulphur.
