The savings and benefits in supplying natural daylight is very much an effective tool in preventing energy consumption. Heat penetration however can diminish the benefits derived from natural daylight. This is where the IDELITE TWIN SKYLIGHT ROOFING PANEL provides a solution. The system provides natural daylight whilst also ensuring minimum transmission of heat. IDELITE TWIN SKYLIGHT ROOFING PANEL is factory assembled translucent panel manufactured from re-entrant IDELITE GRP sheets bonded together using a special media. It has a very simple design and ease of installation .Whilst, the systems is not unique in theory, in practice it provides a long term cost saving and environmental benefits for years to come. APPLICATIONS: · Commercials, industrial, institutional and other projects where long term high quality lighting is required. · IDELITE TWIN SKYLIGHT ROOFING PANEL is suitable for use on food manufacturing buildings, shopping centers, supermarkets and any commercial or industrial projects where high insulation level is required. SPECIAL APPLICATIONS · IDELITE TWIN SKYLIGHT ROOFING PANEL can be supplied with superior weather surface coating which has UV built – in inhibitors offering improved serviceable life. · IDELITE TWIN SKYLIGHT ROOFING PANEL can be supplied as fire retardant sheeting. SHEETING GRADES The most popular range of weight (Grade) is 1730 gm, 2100 gm2, 2440 gm2 and 3500 gm2. Other grades are also available on request. THERMAL Thermal transmittance (U value) is 3.0 W1m.K. LIGHT TRANSMISSION 55% +-5% ASTM DI494 OPERATING TEMPERATURE The operating temperature is – 30 C to + 75 C LENGTH Idelite Double skin sheets are normally manufactured in any lengths up to 6.30 meters, but longer sheets are also possible, subject to our confirmation. Cover width shall depend on the type of profile for profiled sheets and for flat sheets the width can be up to 1.2 meters. SPECIFICATIONS IDELITE meets with the requirement of ASTM D3841 (Standard specification for glass – fibre- reinforced polyester plastic panels) and BS 41 54 part 1.

One of the benefits of GRP natural lighting is that in the event of fire, the roofing burns without dropping flaming particles into the structure which causes re ignition. IDELITE – FR is a glass reinforced polyester fire retardant sheeting that has been specifically formulated using fire retardant materials for use in commercial building application and educational institutions to slow spread of flames and to reduce the level of smoke. IDELITE – FR allows the transmittance of natural light into the interior of the structure while providing fire retardance at minimal additional cost. IDELITE – FR can be specified for any industrial and commercial building that requires compliance to provide safer egress from a building in the event of fire WEIGHT: Sheets are sold by weight - kilograms per square meter, rather than thickness. As the sheets are made heavier (thicker) they become stronger. The most popular range of weight (Grade) is 1730 gm2, 2100gm2, 2440 gm2 & 3500 gm2. Other grades are also available upon request. COLOR: IDELITE – FR is available in standard colors of Clear, White Tint, Opale, Blue and Blue green. Other colors are also available on request to suit specific design application.
