This powerful flashlight was designed with one thing in mind: SAFETY. It carries more approvals than any other flashlight on the market today, making it safe for any hazardous environment or condition. The SabreLite is o-ring sealed with a twist-on shroud and comes with a polarity battery guard tray that safeguards against dangerous "outgassing" of hydrogen from an accidentally reversed cell. Approvals & Standards
V-Gard Slotted Caps and Non-Slotted Hats meet all applicable requirements for a Type I (top impact) helmet as outlined in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 (Class E), and also as outlined in CSA Z94.1-2005 (Class E) with 1-Touch and Fas-Trac Suspensions.
V-Gard Caps and Hats also meet the ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 voluntary standard for reverse donning and low temperature.
Hi-viz orange and hi-viz yellow-green V-Gard Caps and Hats meet the ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 voluntary standard for high visibility as well.
WARNING: Do not mix suspension and helmet sizes. Make sure the sizes match (i.e., standard-size suspension with standard-size helmet). Use only MSA suspensions on an MSA helmet. Failure to comply with the above will reduce the energy-absorbing ability of the protective helmet, which can result in serious injury or death.
