JASO designed the City Crane product line especially with square tower sections (1.18 m center to center), light jibs, and modular components parts that can be assembled in less than a day, using small self-erecting auxiliary cranes. The primary use of the City line is on construction sites that use concrete buckets with a capacity of up to 1 cubic meter. All cranes (10 models) in this line work with a single Jacking cage, because all mast sections in this line have the same dimensions.

With the increasing building heights and growing use of internal climbing cranes, the need for rooftop crane recovery is a requirement that needs consideration.

The derricks in this series are used to solve the disassembly problems for recovery cranes that are used to dismantle the tower crane located on the roofs of tall buildings.

JASO, as pioneers of many luffing crane features, has designed 11 different Luffing models for use in confined spaces. The mast sections are identical to those of the equivalent Top line hammerhead tower cranes. Therefore one climbing system may be used for luffing and hammerhead tower cranes when using the same mast size.
