As oil and natural gas production continues to grow, the transport of LPG via railcar also grows in frequency. This makes the transfer of LPG from railcars to storage facilities or transports an increasingly important link in the LPG supply chain. With that in mind, transloading is a more cost effective and increasingly popular way to transfer LPG. Blackmer LB601 compressors are ideal for this critical transfer process because they are equipped with high-efficiency, hardened steel valves, ductile-iron cylinders, PTFE piston rings, self-adjusting PTFE piston rod seals and a pressure-lubricated power frame. This robust design allows the compressor to operate continuously for many hours without fail. When vapor recovery is performed, it can re-claim up to an additional 3% of product volume to every load. The compressor is also able to deliver a flow rate that approaches 300 to 325 gpm, which results in more cost-effective offloading times. In a piping system a Expansion joints alternately known as Bellows are like sealed springs. Sealed because it is required to contain the fluid pressure which is flowing through it and spring because it is required to respond to the movement of the connected piping without offering appreciable stiffness to the piping system. An expansion jointbellow element employed in a piping system is an assembly of generally more than one convolute in series. The convolutes are designed strong enough to withstand the internal pressure of the system, at the same time the typical contour of the convolute assembly allow sit to flex under thermal movement of the connected piping. As a result of this extreme flexibility the expansion joint bellow as such is highly incapable of absorbing any longitudinal loads by its own there by requiring external attachments to transfer these longitudinal loads to its connected piping for maintaining the overall stability of the piping system under question.

RVP-Series pumps are rotary vane type, self-priming, provided with integral by-pass valve to protect the pump and system against overpressure.
