UV stabilised clear prismatic diffuser ensures maximum light transmission. The well designed prisms results in controlled uniform diffusion of light. Also this attractively styled prismatic diffuser has brilliant lighting effect with high efficiency.
ApplicationsThese fittings are used in situations where there is requirenment for glare free, soft and diffused lightings.These fittings are general purpose luminaries, suitable for use in offices, banks, schools, hospitals, shopping complexes, sales & leisure areas, lobbies etc.
Fluorescent tubes are low pressure mercury discharge lamps, in which light is produced predominently through fluorescent powder activated by the discharge of ultra violet energy.
The lamp, generally with a tubular-shaped glass bulb and a sealed electrode for each terminal, contains low preassure mercury vapour and a small amount of inert gas for ignition and arc regulation.
The glass bulb inner surface is covered by a luminescent (fluorescent powder of phosphorous) whose composition determines the amount of emitted light and the lamp color temperature.
The lamp requires an auxillary equipment formed by a Ballast and starter as well as trimmer to improve the power factor.
