Sencha Japanese Green Tea is one of our highest-quality green tea. Each leaf is specially selected and carefully picked by our farmers’ skilled hands.Sencha contains more of the beneficial nutrient catechin than other green teas because it is grown in full sunlight, thus it becomes yellowish green in colour. Sencha tastes gentle and smells wonderfully fresh.

It takes a long time and much care to produce Matcha – from the cultivation of the Tea Leaves to the powdering process. Temperature plays a great part in the processing, with much attention paid to not lose the flavour. Matcha is one of the highest quality teas produced in Japan. Matcha is carefully grown close to the river, where the soil is very fertile. Rich soil creates the characteristic mellow and deep taste.Our Matcha is grown in the shade for 20 to 30 days before harvest by the way of “Tana” which requires skilful technique and great care. Excellent noble aroma is created by the shaded from the sunlight of the “Tana” technique.
