Plate Heat Exchangers (PHE) is a type of heat exchanger that uses metal plates to transfer heat between two fluids. This has a major advantage over conventional heat exchangers, in that the fluids are exposed to a much greater surface area therefore the size of the unit is much smaller than a conventional shell and tube. Serck can supply many different configurations of PHE as per parameters. Plate packs are available in AISI 304, 316 stainless and titanium, with gaskets in nitrile, EPDM or viton. Serck stock a wide range of gaskets for fast moving PHEs from most manufacturers and can complete and re-gasket job within a week. Serck coils are produced in 38, and 58 diameter tubes with fin densities between 6 to 20 fins per inch with lengths of up to 500. Coils are offered in both aluminum and copper fins. Serck has a library of over 1300 drawings for various models from leading branks like Carrier, York, Trane, Hitachi, McQuay etc. Heresite protective coating is used for clients who require a 5 year warranty for coils that are situated in highly corrosive environments. Two types of coatings on the coils are offered: Epoxy Ester Coupon Blue and Heresite Phenolic coating.

Serck manufacture marine charge air coolers with sizes varying from 38 , 58 and 1 with Fin Per Inch from 8 20 depending upon the design. We can go on board to take manufacturing drawings of charge air coolers and manufacture as per sample upon taking dimensions in 6 days time. Alternatively, a less expensive option is for us to re-block (Fin and tube element) your cooler utilizing the existing tube sheets and side frame, depending upon the suitability of tube pitch.
