Back at our facility, we check the unit for breaches by using our Magnehelic Inspection station to set a vacuum and take readings.
The unit is pre-cleaned by setting a vacuum and blowing compressed air to make ready for entry into our regeneration oven.
Placing the unit into our oven and setting it to gradually heat up, baking the unit at 1112 degrees fahrenheit.
Unit stays in our oven at 1112 degrees for 2 hours and then gradually cools down.
Total regeneration time is 8 hours.
We remove the unit from the oven, placing it back into our Magnehelic station for final vacuum and compressed air cleaning and take final reading.
The unit is then brushed and cleaned externally to ensure a thorough cleaning externally.

Plate Heat Exchangers (PHE) is a type of heat exchanger that uses metal plates to transfer heat between two fluids. This has a major advantage over conventional heat exchangers, in that the fluids are exposed to a much greater surface area therefore the size of the unit is much smaller than a conventional shell and tube.

Serck can supply many different configurations of PHE as per parameters. Plate packs are available in AISI 304, 316 stainless and titanium, with gaskets in nitrile, EPDM or viton. Let us know your required inlet and outlet temperatures, for both process and cooling medium, fluid types and flow rates along with working pressures, capacity and we can quickly size your unit and quote accordingly.

Serck stock a wide range of gaskets for fast moving PHEs from most manufacturers and can complete and re-gasket job within a week. We have specialized team to go on boardsite and re-gasket if need be.

Serck is a premier coil design and manufacturing company that makes replacement coils for Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating industry. Serck coils are produced in 38, and 58 diameter tubes with fin densities between 6 to 20 fins per inch with lengths of up to 500. Coils are offered in both aluminum and copper fins.

Serck has a library of over 1300 drawings for various models from leading branks like Carrier, York, Trane, Hitachi, McQuay etc. Heresite protective coating is used for clients who require a 5 year warranty for coils that are situated in highly corrosive environments. Two types of coatings on the coils are offered: Epoxy Ester Coupon Blue and Heresite Phenolic coating.

Serck have a comprehensive data base of Main Engine Charge Air Coolers featuring all the main manufacturers including B&W, MAN etc. From this data base we can manufacture a complete new unit and have it shipped to wherever your vessel is usually in 3-4 weeks upon confirmation of drawing.

Serck manufacture marine charge air coolers with sizes varying from 38 , 58 and 1 with Fin Per Inch from 8 20 depending upon the design. We can go on board to take manufacturing drawings of charge air coolers and manufacture as per sample upon taking dimensions in 6 days time.

Alternatively, a less expensive option is for us to re-block (Fin and tube element) your cooler utilizing the existing tube sheets and side frame, depending upon the suitability of tube pitch.
