Flaxboard, is an engineered panel material in which shives from the stalk of the flax plant are bonded together with a synthetic resin adhesive. Acement boardis a combination of cement and reinforcing fibers formed into 4 foot by 8 foot sheets that are typically used as a tile backing board.
