TCTI provides Turnkey Project Solutions for Cold Storage construction requirements with wide variety of cold storage facilities operating in temperature ranges of -40C to +40C. Walk-in cold rooms that vary in size from small industrial kitchen units to major turn-key distribution centres are TCTI’s forte. Polyurethane Insulated panels are made in varying thickness of 50mm, 100mm and 150mm to suit the application. The customer has the choice of various panel surface materials such as PVC plastisol coated galvanized steel, pre-painted galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminium or GRP. Optional kick-plates can be supplied in aluminium or stainless steel. Hinged, sliding or swing type door in PVC, pre-painted, Stainless steel skinned door leaves are provided with high quality door gear and accessories. We provide cold storage solutions for industrial refrigeration and provide genuine solutions for any refrigeration application and industry.
4000 refrigerated truck bodies ranging from 1 tonne pickups to 13.5m semi trailers including various chiller freezer combinations. TCTI works in close co-operation with refrigeration equipment suppliers to ensure clients the quality and service they require. Special insulated boxes can be made with moveable partitions for multi-temperature applications, with single, double and triple rear doors and side doors to serve as ice cream trucks, hunting vehicles and mobile workshops. Insulated boxes can have various surface finishes such as PVC plastisol leather grain, smooth finish pre-painted steel, stainless steel or GRP skins. The doors are made of steel panels complete with integrated gaskets and only the best quality door fittings. The floors can have aluminium chequer plate surface, leak proof GRP with a chequer plate sand finish or aluminium profiled surface finish.
Design Flexibility : The practical uses of GRP are virtually endless. It’s unique physical properties allow it to be easily tooled, molded and manufactured to meet almost any specifications. Because there are few constraints on size, shape, color or finish, the styling and appearance can take precedence over manufacturing costs. Affordability : This design freedom and the easiness to work make fibreglass an economical alternative for the manufacture of any component or finished product in any quantity. Strength & Durability: High strength to weight ratio and high flexural strength. GRP is an attractive lightweight material that builds strength into almost any finished product or component. GRP can be stronger than steel and sheet metals. Highly resistant to environmental extremes. Appearance : GRP parts are gel-coated in their molds with a choice of flat, semi-gloss or high gloss color eliminating the need for painting. In highly corrosive environments gel-coats are much more durable than most paints. Fibreglass products can be manufactured in numerous finishes, textures and colors. Non conductive properties: GRP is non-conductive, RF transparent, and helps to insulate against electromagnetic fields, making GRP the obvious choice for electrical and electronic equipment storage. Corrosion Resistant: GRP is non-corrosive and has a much longer life expectancy when compared to a variety of construction materials. In highly corrosive environments GRP is the preferred choice over metal, wood, or plastic. A popular choice where exposure to harsh environments is a concern, GRP provides resistance to ultra violent light, extreme temperatures, salt air, and a variety of chemicals including most acids. Because GRP is chemically inert and corrosion-resistant, it offers an economical alternative to stainless steel.
TCTI PIR-RIGID CLOSED CELL PREFORMED PIPE INSULATION, cut from factory produced blocks with a low K-Value of 0.023 Wm°C at 10°C, provides good structural properties and an excellent fire rating of Class 1, tested in accordance with BS 476 Part 7. A section of double layer insulation for pipe work operating at minus temperatures.PIR is dimensionally stable over temperatures ranging from – 180°C to + 120°C. PIR can be laminated with GRP which culminates in a wide variety of properties suitable for piping and duct insulation. Efficiency is maintained for the life of a building due to closed cell construction of the insulation foam and appropriate vapour barriers preventing moisture penetration. Pre-insulated pipes provide good mechanical properties and excellent long term performance. Pre-insulated pipes are resistant to fungi and protect against rodents and pests. Rigid PU or PIR foam injected between the inner pipe of galvanized steel, copper, PVC or GRP and the outer protective jacket of UPVC, GRP, or HDPE tube, are produced as per the customer’s specifications.
