Bullet let resistant doors are often used in government buildings, cashier stands, high crime rate areas or any structure where increased safety is desired. They are generally tested in accordance with UL 752 and assigned a level from 1-10 that lets you know how resistant the door is to gun fire. Steel doors are typically available upto level 8. A security consultant should analyze the building conditions to determine the proper bullet resistance level required. Variety of cores can be bullet resistant, such as steel stiffendedm honeycomb, and polystyrene. It is only necessary to specify to a perfomance level and not to a specific core material.
Double or single gate assemblies manufactured to standards supplied with an independent frame as a free standing structure or bolted to existing walls as a security gate. The matrix construction consists of flat bar horizontals at 450 centres with round vertical bars passing through the horizontals at 150mm centres. A fully weld construction and optional locking facilities for manual or electric operation.

Essentially the door panel is divided into sections that travel vertically by means of multiple rollers within track. As the sections are hinged, the door can travel through a tigh curve and finally settle ina horizontal position parallel to the garage floor.
All sectional doors have 42mm to 50mm thick panels, constructed of an outer and inner steel skin separated by a "foamed in place" core, ideal for thermal and acoustic applications. This construction gives the door tremendous rigidity and strength, these properties combine to give you, we belive, the best security solution there is in domestic garage doors.

All U-PVC window and door frames are made from 100% virgin U-PVC this is defintely a non recycled U-PVC, this is very important to the life expectancy and colour fastness of the window or door as any frames which have any pecentage of recycled content may still contain lead based chemicals which affect quality and efficiency of the frame.
All our UPVC doors feature multi locking systems with hook locking points to every door, double glazed glass or energy efficient glass for even greater energy cost savings and galvanized steel reinforced frames as standard, although U-PVC reinforcing is now making its way into the market as this increases the energy efficiency of the door or window and is a strong as the steel reinforcing. This means you can enjoy piece of mind knowing that your UPVC item is built to last.
Your UPVC door can be hinged on the left or righ, to open inwards or outwards, hinges used are steel flag hinges which alow adjusting on four different points for ease of use and door adjustment all doors have three hinges as standard rather then only two hinges.
