The unit is designed for monitoring above ground and underground tanks containing inflammable liquids of danger class A III as well as non-inflammable, water polluting liquids and urea solutions 32, 5 % (AdBlue). Also suitable for renovating double-skinned tanks which were previously monitored with leak detection fluid.(Refer to the operating instructions for a definition of the stored media).

The OSA Oil Separator Alarm monitors the level of the separated liquid in oil/petrol separators and generates an alarm signal when it is necessary to empty the separator.

It consists of analarm unit and an ES4capacitance sensor for detecting the layer level.The unit has two relay outputs, audio/visual alarms, test and reset buttons and alsomonitors the sensor for shorts or cable breaks in the sensor circuit.The ES4 capacitance probe is mounted at least 150mm below the normal level of the separator.When the oil or petrol layer reaches the critical level, the unit generates an alarm signal.

The SOL 3000 has been designed to monitor hydrocarbon levels in oil separators and interceptors in locations where mains power is unavailable.

The LAD-R pressure type leak detector contains the following elements in an impact-resistant housing display elements and controls, a printed circuit board with the electronic components for processing the output signal and connections for the remote pressure gauge with two switching contacts or individual high and low pressure switches as required.

The LAD-R monitors the over/under pressure in the interstitial space of a pipe or storage tank and generates an alarm signal in the case of a pressure drop or increase.The alarm is indicated audibly and visibly and is also available via a voltage-free relay contact (1 changeover contact). The switch points for low and high pressure can be adjusted via the two switching contacts of the remote pressure gauge by means of an adjustment spanner. A Variable Frequency Drive is a type of motor controller that drives an electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to the electric motor. VFDs allow to match the speed of the motor-driven equipment to the load requirement.

A VFD is used for control of process temperature, pressure or flow without use of a separate controller. Suitable sensors and electronics are used to interface driven equipment with VFD. Maintenance costs can be lowered, since lower operating speeds result in longer life for bearings and motors.

DC power supply provides the required level of DC power to the load using an AC supply at the input. Input transformer is used to transform the incoming line voltage down to the required level for the power supply. Typically the input transformer provides a step down function.

The advantage of the DC supply is greater efficiency because the switching transistor dissipates little power when acting as a switch. Other advantages include smaller size and lighter weight from the elimination of heavy line-frequency transformers, and lower heat generation due to higher efficiency.
