PRODUCTION PROCESS:

All the production process phases are computerized and controlled with robotic systems so as to achieve the highest standards. The quality of the clays from the Veneto plain, carefully selected and mixed with the continuos support of laboratory are the basis to obtain a life-long product, with no need for maintenance and great esthetical quality. The production process for terracotta is completely controlled in all phases by a process calculator which ensures compliance with pre-set standards.

By making appropriate use of the information gathered via computers, the human resources involved in the production cycle are able to optimize results with products that meet the highest standards.

Flexural strength, Water repellence, uniformity, flatness and appearence are tested every day according to a programmed sampling system to ensure that they meet all the necessary standards.

Tognana Natural Terracotta Tiles has a Solar Reflective Index (S.R.I) of more than 38 which is well above the acceptableS.R.I in Middle East. This S.R.I easily qualifies TOGNANA tiles under various Estidama & Green Building System requirements.

Yali Trading & Shipping GmbH & Co., Germany who are the Master Agent for Greek Lava Pumice.LAVA pumice stone is extracted on Yali island, Greece, owned by Lava Mining & Quarrying Co, part of Lafarge Group.Lava Pumice is a chemically inert porous volcanic mineral created by an undersea volcanic eruption of the Nissiros region10, 000 years ago. It is transported to UAE by sea either in bulk by chartered vessel or in bags by containers. Available invarious grades and sizes of 0-3, 0-8, 2-10, 0-16 & 16-40mm with each grades suitable for different applications.
