Al Gurg Paints LLC (AGP) the erstwhile Al Gurg Leighs Paints/Alchem, established in 1989 is a multi-brand paints and coatings manufacturing company. The company originally a joint venture with Leighs Paints of U.K., it is now wholly owned by the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group. AGP is a licensee of ICI/Akzo Nobel, the world’s number one coatings company as well as Leighs Paints of U.K. It also manufactures and distributes the Dulux and Leighs brands respectively. Additionally, it has its own homegrown brand Oasis which caters to the general industrial segment. Also, AGP has entered into an exclusive agreement with Kansai Paints Middle East (part of Kansai Paints of Japan – amongst the top 10 coatings companies in the world) and is distributing high quality Automotive Refinish Coatings in U.A.E. With these brands AGP has a diverse product portfolio that can service the Decorative cum Architectural, High Performance or Protective (Oil & Gas), General Industrial & Auto Refinish segments. Located in Sharjah, AGP has its own R & D and manufacturing facilities that are aligned to service the paints and coatings segments in U.A.E. as well the GCC region. Apart from being one of the oldest, respected and well known paint companies in U.A.E., AGP’s products are also exported to GCC, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Maldives, India and Western & Central part of Africa.
