CAMTECH Globe valves are heavy duty, outside screw and yoke type, Bolted bonnet, rising stem and rising handwheel type. These valves are highly efficient for service requiring frequent operation and throttling. These valves are handwheel operated and gear operated depending upon the size. Globe valves are generally considered for moderate control and regulation of fluid. Some of the design features are as below,

  • Cast body precisely machined with integral flanges.
  • Cast bonnet with integral yoke for better alignment and fewer parts.
  • Disc is ground and lapped for better finish and sealing. The disc is integrally guided to assure true alignment between disc and valve body. The loose disc allows for proper sealing without damage.
  • Rising stem with precision ACME thread with single or double start for quick operation.
  • Stem packing is designed for optimum control of fugitive emission leakage to the atmosphere and is assured by the polished finish stem sealing area.
  • Live loading on packing can be provided as request.
  • Back seat shall be either threaded or welded in to facilitate the replacement of packing under line pressure.

Camtech Cryogenic valves are specially designed for gas treatment processes and storage and transportation of liquefied gasses such as LNG, liquid nitrogen, Oxygen, . Etc. These valves are required to be operated to give assured leakage rates. These valves which are recommended to use below -50C are designed with a extended bonnet which separates the operator and stem seal from the cold temperature. 12 gas column is a standard feature for these valves. Extended bonnet as per MESC SPE 77/200 & SPE 77/209 can also be given.

The main pressure containing components are treated with liquid nitrogen to stabilize dimensions and eliminate the stress caused by metal microstructure changes. Lip seals are used as a seals in these valves which are made up of different materials such as PTFE, KEL-F, etc, and it is self energized by an internal spring of stainless or Inconel alloy.

Uniqueness of dynamically and pressure balanced design together with inverted plug design, assure prevention of locking, which has been the problems of conventional design at higher pressure application. Pressure Balance Lubricated Plug valves are manufactured using a wide range of materials to suit the service applications.
The benefit of dynamic pressure balance plug valve offers is that it ensures equalized pressure between the plug and upper and lower body chamber. Camtech Through Conduit Gate valves offer increased value by incorporating advanced design features. These valves are designs and manufactured with a full bore port, rising stem, OS & Y type with floating seats. These valves are robust in construction and easy In-Line maintainability. The full port bi-directional flow capability minimizes pressure drop and turbulence. The expanding gate valve does not require line pressure to seal and is recommended when a tight mechanical seal is required. The design provides a mechanical seal between the seats and the gate in both high and low pressure applications. There are two piece wedged shape assembly consisting of a Gate and a Segment. The Gate is attached and driven by the stem. Positive sealing is achieved in both high and low pressure conditions by expanding the Gate and the Segment out towards the seats while in a closed position.
The valve seat faces are outside the flow stream and therefore the seats are protected from the erosive action of the fluid flow. These valves are piggable valves and Pigs and scrapers can be run through the valve without causing damage to the valve and seats. Through Conduit valves are primarily used in chemical, petrochemical and oil & gas transmission pipelines, onshore terminals, offshore platforms, Suitable for all types of fluids (including abrasive fluids). Camtech manufacture both Positive and adjustable choke valves in pressure rating up to 10, 000 PSI working pressure. The main pressure containing components are treated with liquid nitrogen to stabilize dimensions and eliminate the stress caused by metal microstructure changes.
