Established in 1880 as a small rope maker in Süssen, Germany, Carl Stahl has grown through innovation and vision to employ over 1050 people operating all around the world.

Having moved into wire rope making in the late 1960s, Carl Stahl soon after began to diversify into lifting systems, investing in research and development, and a Wire Rope and Technology Centre was built in Süssen in 1997. Since then, Carl Stahl has continued to expand its range of products and its international reach.

Early in 1999, a Carl Stahl group company changed its name to Carl Stahl Lifting Equipment Industries L.L.C and took on the responsibility of representing Carl Stahl throughout United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Region.

Whilst continuing to provide specialised lifting and architectural cable systems-solutions on a worldwide scale, the newly formed UAE based company now provides a comprehensive range of products including: CASAR special wire rope for cranes, high quality stainless steel cables,techno cables & fittings and flexible wire rope mesh for architectural and safety applications, and a wide and varied range of lifting gear and appliances.
