Air Curtains are installed over operational doors and pass-thru windows providing protection from windborne dust, dirt, fumes, flying insects and extreme outside temperature conditions. Air curtains improve the inside sanitation level of a building while reducing the operational energy costs necessary to heat and cool it.
Jet fans are low profile, high velocity induction fans used to control air movement in cars parks and tunnels. In car parks the fans are situated to direct the air flow for the removal of polluted air and the removal of smoke in the event of a fire.
Tubeaxial models TXD and TXB, direct- and belt-drive axial fans are designed for use in low- to medium-low pressure ducted applications. They are generally used for removing contaminated or hot air found in industrial applications. They can also be used to supply air through duct work for cooling or pressurizing interior spaces. Tubeaxial fans are very versatile and compact units that move large volumes of air in duct systems with relatively low pressure losses.
Direct-drive and belt-drive centrifugal inline fans are widely used in square ducts as clean air boosters in both supply and exhaust systems where the installation of conventional blowers is impractical. Their compact design makes them an excellent alternative to conventional blowers. Centrex inline fans can be installed horizontally, vertically or at any angle determined by the duct work.
Direct-drive and belt-drive centrifugal upblast roof exhausters are designed for medium- to high-pressure applications. They can either be roof or wall mounted. While suitable for general ventilation, Fumex fans are specifically designed to discharge contaminated or grease-laden air or heat/smoke up and away from building surfaces. The optional Fatrap restaurant grease exhaust configuration makes Fumex fans particularly well-suited for all food service applications and chemical fume hoods.
Single and twin unit belt-drive centrifugal cabinet fans are general purpose duct blowers. These versatile quiet-operating air movers provide economical, convenient and effective ventilation in ducted systems. They are also used extensively in heating and cooling systems. Cabinet units are sized with space saving in mind and finished with inlet- and outlet-connecting flanges and side access panels.
Tubular model REX direct- and belt-drive centrifugal in-line fans have efficient aluminum backward-inclined wheels and aerodynamic straightening vanes giving the Centrex a quiet efficiency unmatched by competitive models.
An extractor hood (U.K.) or range hood (U.S.), also known as a kitchen hood, stove hood, exhaust hood, cooker hood, extraction hood, cooking canopy, ventilation hood, extractor fan, fume extractor or electric chimney, is a device containing a fan that hangs above the stove or cooktop in the kitchen. It is used to remove airborne grease, combustion products, smoke, odors, heat, and steam from the air by a combination of filtration and evacuation of the air.
