The solar panels are installed and fixed onto a carrier frame which is mechanically fixed to the roof plane. The roof is suitable at this location for the installation of a PV system due to direct exposure ensuring maximum output from the solar cell panels. Energy from the sun can be harnessed to produce electricity with the use of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) technology. The development of this technology will require mounting of PV modules connected to the cabins/ houses distribution system via a dc/ac inverter. PV modules have no mechanical parts thereby requiring very little maintenance.
