HRSFUNKE hot water calorifiers are designed for use with any primary heating source, for example a solar system or boiler, to provide hygienic water for a wide range of applications. Direct heating sources like solar and boilers can affect water quality so that an isolating medium such as an HRSFUNKE hot water calorifier is required. HRSFUNKE hot water calorifiers provide hygienic hot water, by using specially designed copper U-Tube heat exchangers. The calorifier will use the primary side hot water as an indirect heating source and will transfer energy to the cold water side.
Electrical heaters can also be used with HRSFUNKE hot water calorifiers either as back up or to meet peak demand.
HRSFUNKE steam calorifiers are designed to be used with steam boilers as the primary heating source to provide hygienic hot water for different applications. Heating sources like these cannot be used as a direct heating source since they will affect the water quality and also high pressure steam is difficult to handle. But The HRSFUNKE hot water calorifiers can provide hygienic hot water, by using specially designed copper U-Tube heat exchangers which can withstand high pressure and will convert the heat from the steam to the secondary water effectively.
With these we can also provide an electrical heater either as a back up or to meet peak demand.
The HRSFUNKE SolarStor vessels are a range of storage cylinders for use in conjunction with the HRSFUNKE solar water heating system. All our vessels are manufactured from copper lined steel, stainless steel, glass lined steel as per customer requirement and are fitted either with dual heat exchanger coils or with one heat exchanger coil and electrical back up.
The system boiler would be connected to the upper coil to use as a back up and solar connected to the lower coil, which has a unique design where the bottom of the coil is much lower than in a normal cylinder design, which reduces the amount of cold water in the tank and therefore the risk of legionella.
All our standard vessels have a maximum working pressure of 6 bar g and are supplied complete with factory fitted thermostat and thermometer. The vessels are insulated with mineral wool and encased in a heavy duty polyurethane cladding.
The HRSFUNKE cold water tank offers a high quality solution for domestic water cooling. The tank is manufactured from either copper, copper lined steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel or glass lined steel. The heat exchangers are made from either copper or stainless steel AISI 316L guaranteeing an hygienic, reliable and durable product.
Particular attention has been paid to the design and layout of the units and the HRSFUNKE cold water tank offers an excellent product both aesthetically and technically. These bespoke tanks can be designed around constraints within the plant room and also special attention is paid to where the terminating connections need to be on the unit so it ties in well with the system pipe work, helping to reduce on site costs due to labour and material savings.
HRSFUNKE buffer tanks offer storage solutions for Domestic Hot Water Systems (DHWS). These tanks are designed to be installed in DHWS to reduce the boiler or solar output requirement by supplying a stored volume of hot water to cover peak loads.
The standard vessels range from 100 to 5, 000 litres. Custom made designs are available to suit site requirements, with dimensions together with the size and positioning of the connections to suit. HRSFUNKE can manufacture vessels up to 100, 000 litres.
Immersion heaters and all associated controls can be supplied and fitted to provide an electrical backup facility for boiler shutdown periods with duties ranging from three to 300 kW. This includes heaters, control panels - staged or thyristor control, and all necessary wiring to the latest standards and regulations.
All HRSFUNKE vessels are designed and manufactured in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive. The vessels are available as 6 bar g and 10 bar g as standard. Higher pressures and temperatures than those stated are available upon request.
RFB - (64 to 291) kW Reversed Flame Fire Tube Boiler
The HRSFUNKE evacuated tube solar thermal collectors comprise a set of glass tubes fitted to a header pipe. The tubes are coated externally with an absorbent film. Internally, the glass tube has a copper pipe (also known as a heat pipe) with the solar fluid within the copper tube. Between the copper tube and the glass tube, the air is removed to create a vacuum. This lets the solar radiation in to heat the copper tube but stops any heat escaping back out because of the vacuum, thereby making them more efficient in the winter than flat plate collectors. The fluid heated within the tube rises during the natural convection process to the top in the header and is replaced by cooler water which is heated during the heating cycle. This is circulated through the heat exchanger to transfer the heat to the hot water system. The solar water is cooled during this process as its heat is transferred to the domestic hot water, the solar heating cycle then starts again.
CONA economy through energy savings
Save energy with CONA's advanced steam trap technology. Ball float, bimetallic, thermodynamic and balanced pressure steam traps or CODI manifolds. Cut costs and energy consumption with the patented cona-control monitoring system. Thousands of steam traps tested individually in just three seconds!
The benefit of choosing to install a solar powered hot water system is significant when viewed over the long term since after the initial investment hot water generation is free. A solar thermal hot water heating system is an efficient, effective and environmentally friendly way of heating hot water.
HRSFUNKE offer two solar panel options - flat plate or evacuated tube collectors. Dependant on the local climate, both options offer a good solution for solar hot water generation. The flat plate type offers longevity of operation and is more suitable for installations in the Middle East due to higher working temperatures and efficiency. For locations where there is less sun the evacuated tube may offer better benefits than flat plate collectors due to the year round efficiency of glass tubes.
The HRSFUNKE flat plate solar thermal collector consists of a copper riser tube structure, fitted to a flat absorber plate. The absorber plates are highly efficient, and are made of specially designed Tinox Selectice or Black Chrome according to requirements. The absorber plate on standard flat plate solar thermal collectors are generally painted black or black in colour. The black surface is most efficient at absorbing solar radiation and converting it to heat, it is also highly efficient at reradiating long wave infrared heat back out. The collector structure is manufactured from stainless steel or anodized aluminum and the collector base is manufactured from weather resistant aluminium or galvanized sheet with 35mm glass wool rear insulation. The glass cover is highly transparent, made from low iron, tempered glass.
ARI FABA bellows valves. Extra-tight shut-off due to "cut effect". Extra-tight shut-off due to conical marginal seat geometry. Extra-tight shut-off due to significantly increased seat pressure and longer service life or ZETRIX the ARI process valve for challenging applications. Triple offset design, metal seal and self-aligning sealing ring.
A combination of components from our own production line together with those from renowned manufacturers are used during the manufacturing process. The result is a unit supplied complete with accessories that is ready to operate and ready for connection (CVE). CERTUSS steam generators negate the need for time consuming and costly pre-installation procedures and offer factory tested safety and reliability and offer a compact high capacity system with a considerably reduced power requirement.
A wide range of ancillary equipment such as the Thermotimat control unit that allows for automatic operation of the plant without the need for personnel, is also available.
The SC series CERTOMAT system, installed as standard, indicates the operating state of the steam generator, displaying the information in plain text and storing messages for detailed evaluation at a later stage.
The touch screen of the TC series guides the operator graphically through all the application steps and when required provides access to system specific supplementary functions, reminders for maintenance dates or further preventative measures for maintaining operational reliability.
All the signals can be integrated into a process control system provided by the customer (GLT). The inclusion of the steam generator control system into a company network is also possible. The data transfer can be affected via Ethernet switch directly or via interfaces, for example PROFIBUS, DSL or GSM.
The latest models from a proven series, the CERTUSS Universal 500 - 1800 TC feature immediate modulating output adjustment and a simplified operation.
