The pomegranate is a fruit formed by the amalgamation of several unit-like fruitlets. It is a round berry called balausta. It has a thick skin on the outside and a lot of inner seeds surrounded by a juicy pulp. Its color ranges from bright red to yellowish green or even white. Its taste is bittersweet.
