The unique aerofoil blade of the smooth-flow louvre system provides for a pleasing architectural feature which at the same time offers enhanced aerodynamic and weathering performance. Extremely versatile, smooth-flow louvres can be installed into any configuration of wall facade. It also acts as a visually attractive screening system. An important feature of the smooth-flow design is that it allows water to drain completely from both sides of the blade - there is no ridge or receptacle that can allow an unsightly silt pool to form or where potentially lethal bacteria could contaminate the ventilation system. The system is available in 50, 80 and 100mm pitches and may be supplied in continuous form with pre-assembled mullions and metal clips. It is also available in modular and interlocking formats.
