The principal requirement in the treatment of wastewater is the protection of public health and the environment. A successful treatment process must meet the requirement of community concerns, as enforced by governments through the enactment of stringent water quality standards.

Wastewater includes all sources of household discharges into sewers, industrial effluent discharge and stormwater inflows. A typical wastewater treatment plant is therefore required to treat a variety of constituents including pathogenic microorganisms, suspended matter, dissolved metals, fats and oils, organic compounds that may be volatile, hazardous or carcinogenic and nutrients that may stimulate the growth of a variety of nuisance algae and plants. In addition the odour and colour of wastewater may require a treatment regime.
Modern treatment plants deliver performance to the tertiary level of treatment standards. This standard indicates compliance in the removal of both nutrients and suspended solids to a low level and the removal of biodegradable organics. Odorous constituents such as Ammonia compounds are also converted in the process.
Through disinfection of the treated wastewater, re-use strategies have been adopted for water to be distributed to downstream users including irrigation, farming, energy and industrial applications.
The re-cycling of treated and disinfected wastewater back into the potable water distribution system is being adopted in many cities. Aspen produces wide range of EPS block sizes and densities, which can be custom cut to an infinite number of shape sizes. The blocks are produces in two types, fire retardant and non-fire retardant.

Thermolite is a closed cell expanded polystyrene panels made by the injection process. Thermolite has very low water absorption and good thermal insulation properties with high compressive and flexural strength.

ApplicationThermolite is mainly using for roof, wall and floor insulation for buildings, warehouses and cold storages. Thermolite has the power to protect the heat & cold and used for any roof structure. Thermolite recommended to any application required better thermal insulation for any roof structure.

Chemical resistanceChemical resistance of Thermolite is very much of the same as that of polystyrene. However, Thermolite is resistant to water and aqueous solution of salts, most acids and alkalis. Bonding Thermolite with emulsion or contact adhesive and bitumen will not affect its physical properties.

InstallationThermolite can be worked with conventional wood working tools. The panels could be bound together with hot bitumen, dispersion type structural or special adhesive. Instruction for use and safety precautions relating to the adhesive must be observed.

Rotating wheels are available in four different standards: aluminum, epoxy coated aluminum, aluminum with a hygroscopic surface and silicagel adsorption coating. The width of the wheel is 200mm & the maximum diameter is 2500mm. Aluminum, epoxy coated aluminum and hygroscopic wheels are recommended to rotate 10 rpmAdsorption wheels are recommended to rotate 17 rpm

Bearings and shafts
Heatex offer ball bearings as a standard for vertical applications a special adapted ball bearing for wheels in horizontal applications.For wheels up to and including 1100mm in diameter the diameter of the shaft is 20mm.For wheels from 1101mm in diameter the diameter of the shaft is 30mm.The shaft is predrilled for an M12 screw.Standard shaft lengths is 220mm but may be change on request.

SpokesFor wheels up to and including 399mm in diameter, spokes are assembled inside the wheels as spikes. For wheels from 400mm up to and including 2500mm in diameter, the spokes are constructed as flat spokes in the dimensions of 5x35mm. The spokes are countersunk into the wheel and flush with the wheel surface. The spokes are welded to the hub and the wrap.

Casing

Casing is manufactured in two types: standard and covered- Standard casing does not have any side plates or top/bottom plates. This means that the casing is only covered at the front and back and is suitable for sliding into an air handling unit.- This alternative is covered on all 6 sides by plates: front, back, top, bottom and 2 sides. One of the sides is removable to secure the possibility to do maintenance on the drive.

Purge Sector
The purpose of the purge sector is to clean the wheel from the exhaust air before it turns over to the supply air side. The purge sector is made in the size of 5o with start at center of the wheel. At the purge sector brush sealant is assembled at the upper side and at the lower side. When placing an order please make sure that the location of the purge sector is correct. The position is fixed based on the rotating direction of the wheel as well as the directions of the supply/exhaust air.

Drive

Grishmas Hot Hydrocarbon Pump Shed Protection is fully automatic detection cum extinguishing system. The system is designed and manufactured for extremely fast detection and extinction of any type of Hydrocarbon Pump Shed fires as per the International Safety Standards.

Linear heat detectors are based on the physical principle that volume and pressure of a gas changes whenever its temperature changes. The detectors senses rate of rise of temperature and maximum fixed temperature in terms of pressure and trigger an alarm by combine signals of both parameters. The change in pressure is instantly registered by microprocessor electronic pressure sensor connected to the extremity of the tube. A Stainless Steel / Copper sensor tube is laid along the circumference of the Pump Shed and monitors surrounding temperature over a distance of approx. 100 m. Baby fire is detected within few seconds, which trigger an alarm and actuates the extinguishing system. The foam module charged with pre-mixed foam solution can discharge foam within few seconds of detecting fire.

The foam module is charged with pre-mixed foam solution as per the International Safety Standards Foam Discharge Manifold with Spray Nozzles are evenly spaced along the Rim Seal and are designed to discharge required Foam solution to control the fire completely.

To keep out any type of faulty measurements, an inbuilt test motor is provided in the evaluation unit, which checks the healthiness of the sensor tube at regular intervals. If the pressure rise actually measured does not correspond to the programmed measured value, a malfunction indication is displayed. The system is user-friendly, immune to electrical, thermal and mechanical interference.
