SAND TIRES UNLIMITED focused on a pretty much ignored idea, Front Tires. Front tires for sand vehicles were just an after thought. Sand is to ATV's as air is to a plane and water to a boat. It all works the same. So, create a bigger tire and more footprint and you get more flotation. Sand moves away when you push off it and it moves around when you apply pressure to it. So, it follows that a front sand tire should turn through an unstable medium, like sand, just as rudders do on planes and boats. We gave this tire biased rudders. This biased rudder sand tire can be run forward or backward for more or less positive steering control.

The Assault Industries turret style heavy duty radius rods for the Can-Am Maverick X3 are designed and manufactured in California using state-of-the-art machinery and aircraft grade materials.

These high clearance lower rods are built from 7075-T6 aluminum and feature over an inch of ground clearance. This is aircraft grade aluminum and pretty much the strongest aluminum option for our sport. The ends house FK uniballs, the same series joints that the trophy trucks are running, there is nothing better. The middle (toe) link and upper radius rod are solid 1-1/8" 7075-T6 aluminum. The joints on those links are chromoly FK rod ends, again its the strongest joint made and made in the USA. The spacers in each joint are 303 stainless steel so strength and corrosion won't be an issue here.
This will allow for full adjustability of camber and toe.
