Spectrum Budget Range fire blankets are a low cost, lightweight but highly efficient fire fighting agent, which can extinguish a fire in its early stages by smothering. They are able to withstand extremely high temperatures.

Neatly packaged in a choice of containers for domestic or industrial use they are supplied with two instantaneous release tapes which function as handles when the blanket is pulled from the container. The blanket itself acts as a heat shield protecting the user from the fire. When draped over a fire, the blanket smothers the fire by starving it of oxygen, leading to rapid extinction. There is no mess to clean up afterwards.

Novec 1230 (3M Novec 1230) fluid is an environmentally friendly Halon replacement for use as a gaseous fire suppression agent. Novec 1230 is manufactured by 3M. It is generally used in situations where water from a fire sprinkler would damage expensive equipment or where water-based fire protection is impractical, such as museums, banks, clean rooms and hospitals . 3M Novec 1230 fluid does not deplete ozone (ODP 0) and has an atmospheric lifetime of 5 days and a GWP of 1.
