However, the sensors defined under this category of electrical sensors and electronic sensors are those used for sensing electrical and electronic parameters such asvoltage, frequency, current etc. These are simpler in operation compared to most other sensors since these parameters are directly measurable in most cases without complication. In all other types of sensors, the assigned parameter is detected and converted into electrical signals.
Photoelectric sensors are a type of optical sensors. The operational principle is conversion of light into voltage through photo voltaic principles. Photoelectric sensors are used for conversion or measurement oflight energy by measuring the resultant electric energy and can be used to measure distance, movement etc. One of the typical applications include a transmitter and receiver installed linearly opposite to each other. These types can also be used for smoke detection by detecting an obstruction in the optical path
Fuel sensors are used to measure fuel level, fuel temperature, fuel quality sensor etc. Capacitive and resistive type sensors are used with explosion proof connection heads as required. Fuel sensors are used for fuel storage tanks, transportation tankers and also for the various type of engines including automotive engines for continuously monitoring different parameters of fuels and most of such sensors are classified explosion proof type of assembly.
Level sensors for sewerage tankApplication of these sensors for sewage tank is also similar to any other tanks. However, the sensors are capable of withstanding the adverse conditions inside the tank. The principal of operation is similar to other such sensors only.
Alerts and signals from sensorsWe can provide the following alerts or signals from sensors, depending on customer requirements.
We also supply any of these sensors suitable for connection to an Internet of Things (IOT) Platform for remote monitoring
This receiver is for controlling lights using DALI ballasts.DALI systems are standard protocol for light control. However, most of the systems are wired systems. We are providing world-class wireless Dali which is easy to install and configure. It can group a set of lights in one group and control the lights. Using our software and configuration. Transmitter, you can use the DALI bus to set up to 4 separate groups of lights. The Dimmer function has one button mode and two button mode.
Technical details of Wireless Dali model VAC-P8r Dalipower supply 230 V / 50 Hz

We supply these systems in all Middle East countries covering UAE(Dubai, Abudhabi, Sharjah), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, Abba), Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq (Baghdad & Erbil). Also, we supply all our sensors to North African countries mainly covering Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Morocco and Djibouti.
Water leakage sensor is commonly used for keeping a watch on water leakage and moisture accumulation in critical areas such as data centres, server room etc. Other major uses of water leakage sensors are detecting leakage of pipes, tanks etc. The sensor consists of a conductive wire or strips laid out in the area to be monitored. Typically stainless steel, copper etc. are used as sensor wires. The operating principle is that the resistance of the conductor varies upon detecting water. By measuring the current passingthrough the sensor, the water leakage can be detected.
There are different models of sensors which can be connected to an IP-based remote monitoring system and can generate email, SMS or phone call alerts. The sensors also can work as acompletely independent system without the need of a computer or server. Please see our separate page onWater leak detection alert system.
Various level sensors are used to detect the level of a liquid commonly inside a tank. Water level sensor is one of the most common types of such sensors.
Different liquid sensors are used to detect the level. One of the oldest types of water level detector is a float which is a simple level with an air-filled float at the end of it. Water level sensors of modern technology are a non-touch type, implying that the sensors will not touch water or the liquid. One such technology is ultrasound which consists of a transmitter and receiver mounted at the top of the tank. The transmitter generates ultrasonic waves towards the bottom of the tank. The sound waves get reflected the top of the liquid and bounces back to the receiver which is adjacent to the transmitter. The speed of the waves and time taken from the moment the ultrasonic wave is generated and the time it is received back at the receiver gives an easy calculation of the distance from the transmitter to the top of the liquid
The advantage is that this type can be used for very tall tanks and even for liquids which are corrosive in nature. All level sensor will have electrical outputs for displaying the readings and switching circuits will be provided for switching circuits.
For measuring current in low voltage AC and DC circuits, current sensors are used. The current rating of up to 250 A can be measured using these sensors. Split core type sensors are easy to be mounted across current carryingconductors by opening the core of the sensor. Similar to voltage sensors, there are also available with 4-20 mA output and digital outputs suitable for automation purposes.
For the selection of current sensors, you have to determine the current to be measured, the direction of current (unidirectional or bidirectional), output signals required etc.
Hall Effect sensor is a type of current sensor named after the inventor Edwin Hall. The major component is the hall device whichmeasures the current utilising the Hall Effect and produce proportional output signals. The basic principle is the measurement of magnetic flux density which is in proportion to the associated current. Hall Effect sensors or hall sensors are also used as switching circuits, in which the output will be a switching circuit determined based on the input parameters. Hall effect sensors are simply known as hall sensors also.
We are supplying a huge variety of motion sensors for numerous residential and commercial applications. These come in innumerable types and shapes by different manufacturers. Hence we provide extensive assistance for customers in the selection process.
Motion sensors and Motion detectorsMotion sensors are the most widely used category of automation sensors and is equally utilised in industrial and commercialapplications. The reason for wide usage is that these are the essential part of energy conservation in commercial, residential and industrial applications and the installation is extremely simple enough to be carried out by normal technicians. These are also known as movement sensors and movement detectors
Such sensors are also an integral part of Home automation and office automation systems which can be integrated into an entire system or individual units or a section of the room, corridor etc. as per the customer requirements. These are available in latest Automation protocols such as KNX, Bacnet etc. for integrating into an entire building management system. Ultrasonic sensors and Infrared sensorsare the most commonly used technology for detecting motion.
Operating principle of Motion Sensors technologyAs obvious from the name, these are also known as motion detectors are used to detect motion. The motion thus detected may be that of human beings, machinery parts, mechanical parts etc. depending on the application. The basic principle is that it will be constantly monitoring a certain area or a linear path. If any movement happens in this area, the sensor will detect the same and an output signal will be provided to other connected circuitries and instruments to carry out any related functions. These are also called motion sensor switch since the sensor is only carrying out a switching action. Different models for indoor and outdoor applications are available.
The lights of a house or office can be controlled through light sensors by measuring the available natural light inside the area. Light sensors will measure the lux level of the room (measurement of light) and will give out put signals to increase or decrease the electrical lights using dimmers. Also they can provide switching action simply to switch on or off the lights. Modern light sensors have lux adjustment facilities so that the customer can adjust the required light level inside the area. As an example if you need to maintain a light level of 400 lux inside an office room constantly as peer
lighting design calculations, you can make the setting to be 400 lux. If the natural light available goes below 400 lux, the lights will be switched on or the intensity will be increased through dimmers as per the output connections.
