Vulcan offers a full range of Steel louvered doors.The steel louvered panels can be fitted into any of our steel door ranging from transform flat panelled steel doors to fully or partially louvered steel security doors. We offer a wide range of louvered panels to cater to any client's needs.Louvers are installed into our steel doors to allow constant airflow through a particular room or passage or space. Some common uses for louvered doors are plant rooms, communal rubbish bin stores, electrical utility rooms, pumping stations, transformer chambers and gas cylinder storage.Our standard louvered steel doors allows a 50% free air flow area.For fire rated louver doors, Vulcan steel doors shall be given provisions to accommodate fusible link fire rated louvers.

FRAMES

• Single Doors from size Width 650-1600 mm X Height 1500-3000 mm can be made.
• Double Doors from size Width 1200-4500 mm X Height 1500-3000 mm can be made.
• Vulcan Louver Doors are available as fully louvered & partially louvered as per customer requirements.
• Single panelled& double panelled shutters can be made. Even fixed louvers can be made to achieve ventilation. Frames are made of 1.5mm thick galvanised steel. Doors are of 1.2mm thick galvanised steel and louvers are usually made with the same thickness of the skin of the shutter.Louvers are normally placed at a pitch of 80 mm and can be varied to suit customer specifications in order to achieve ambient air flow with minimal dust entry. Appropriate lighting & ventilation is achieved with Vulcan steel louver doors.
• For fire rated louvers, fusible link type louvers are provided where the link will melt upon reaching a certain temperature & cause the louver to close thus forming a fire rated shutter.

Vulcan Sand Trap Louver Doors are strong & rigid in construction & applicable for both industrial & commercial purposes. Our doors are designed to seperate intake air form sand & dust particles from intake air for ventilation purposes.
Hung by heavy-gauge steel hinges with available hardware configurations like custom made alldrops and tower bolts.
Louvers and frames are constructed of galvanised steel. Vulcan can also build to fit your specific needs in custom door sizes and configurations of hardware.

FRAMES

• Normally constructed with 1.5 mm thick galvanised steel & can go upto 3 mm as per requirements.

Vulcan Acoustic doors are designed for use in commercial or residential applications. Available in Single or Double panel configuration with frames prepared for installation in Masonry, Steel or Wood stud construction. Vulcan Acoustic Doors are designed to suit any available hardware configurations including locksets, panic exit devices, closers and view lites. Vulcan can also build to fit your specific needs in custom door sizes, designs and configurations of hardware.

FRAMES

• Wooden frames are made with solid wood of density varying from 600-800 kg/m3 & then painted to the required colour. Frames can also be made with Mineral Core as per requirements.
• Steel frames are made of galvanised steel sheets of 1.5 mm thick & powder coated.
