Control Joint Beads are 1-piece joints designed to relieve stress and minimize cracking. Control Joint Beads can accommodate the initial shrinkage and minor thermo movement of the concrete, once the concrete is set for drying. The Control Joint Beads forms a membrane panel that protects wall against variable temperature change. The Control Joint Beads we provide is produced using galvanized steel and zinc alloy. Manufactured to BS EN 13658-1 & 2 : 2005 (formerly BS 6452: Part 1: 1984). Galvanised steel to be bs EN 10346-2009 (formerly BE SN10142:1991), ASTM A 653/A 653 M – Z275. Stainless steel BS EN 10082-2:2005 (Equivalent to BS 1449: Part 2 : 1983; Grade 304 2B finish), ASTM A 240/A 240M.
