Hot rolled coil is typically 2-25mm thick and up to 2, 250mm wide. Hot rolled coil is produced as a feedstock for cold rolled coil and coated coil, but also for direct use in a variety of industrial applications including steel tubes used in transport, construction, shipbuilding, gas containers, pressure vessels and energy pipelines.
