Crash Barriers
There are different types of guard rail system used over the world, such as a steel wire rope system, concrete crash barriers, double or triple corrugated beam system, open box type of beam, etc. The guard rail system manufactured by Galva Coat consists of a cold formed double corrugated steel guard rail beams, posts and spacers, in addition to the connecting bolts and other accessories.
Poles are designed according to AASHTO standard Standard Specifications for Structural Supports for Highway Signs, Luminaries and Traffic Signals and its latest revisions. Design wind speed is 160 Kmhr or as per the customer request multiplied by gust factor of 1.3 (Gust speed is 208 Km hr or as specified in the project specifications) Design of poles is performed utilizing Computer software to analyse the pole shaft, base plate and anchor bolts.
The Decorative lighting Poles are of heights from 2m up to 14m made out of tubular shape pipe or tapered steel shafts with octagonal or conical shape, with dimensions complying with the design structural analysis, international standards requirements, and as per customer requirements.
The stadium high masts with fixed head frame for mounting the flood lights are mostly used for those outdoor places where the high concentration of lights is required over a small area, such as a Football Stadium, Race Course, etc. The height of the mast and the number of the flood lights are specified by the customer or the flood lights supplier based on the lighting study for the concerned area.
The mid-hinged poles can be designed with heights from 8m up to 30m only, with limitations on mounting equipments weights. Hinge device: Made of S.S. spindle. Jacket: The jacket is fabricated as one segment only.
The Monopoles for telecommunication covers most of the surface GSM antennae requirement. It consists of a main pole shaft with a working platform at the top to cater for the installation and maintenance of microwave dishes and GSM antennae. Due to faster installation and aesthetic blend with the surrounding, and lesser ground area it occupies, they are being preferred over the conventional tower support structure and guyed mast.
Traffic poles are used to carry the traffic signals which controls the flow of vehicles traffic in roads and at intersections & junction points. It consists of a vertical shaft and cantilever arm whose length varies from 3 to 14 m depending on the road design and traffic requirements.
The high mast with raising and lowering gear system is a safe system due to reliable service hoist which raises and lowers the fixtures ring for maintenance purposes. Raising & lowering gear system consists of the following major parts as shown in our catalogue: 1- Head Frame. 2- Luminaries Ring. 3- Single or Double Drum Winch. 4- Portable power tool with Portable Electrical Motor. The raising & lowering system is a special electromechanical arrangement which is procured by us . High Mast Shape: The high masts are usually made out of continuously tapered steel shafts with polygonal shape of sixteen sides, with dimensions and thicknesses complying to the structural design analysis and suitable to suit the raising & lowering mechanism.
