Leading Manufacturer, Supplier & Retailer of FIRE TESTING system, SGG CONTRAFLAM LITE Double glazing, SGG PYROSWISS Double glazing, SGG PYROSWISS glass and SGG SWISSFLAM glass.
Jointly developed with Vetrotech Saint-Gobain and Eckelt Glas, the LITEFLAM* system comprises an upper structural walkable laminated safety glass with a special hardwearing slip-resistant coating and a lower sheet of Contraflam fireresistant glass separated by a glazing bar. The Roger Wilde load bypass frame system* ensures peak performance of all components. Tested both at BRE Garston to BS 476 pt 21., 1987 and EN 1365-2-2000, and at SWRI San Antonio to ASTM E119, the LITEFLAM* fire-rated glass flooring system gives an impressive integrity, insulation and load bearing capability well in excess of 90 minutes. The LITEFLAM* ''made to measure'' system offers 3030, 6060 and 9090 minute versions in panel sizes up to 1.5M x 1.5M square and 1M x 2M rectangular. Roger Wilde Ltd offers complete design, supply and installation of the LITEFLAM* system including, where required, supporting steelworks.
SGG CONTRAFLAM LITE can easily be incorporated into double glazed units for external areas. Solar Control glass types such as SGG PARSOL, SGG ANTELIO and SGG COOL-LITE can also be easily incorporated, as can low emissivity products such as SGG PLANITHERM or SGG EKO LOGIK, for increased thermal insulation and in full compliance with Document L.
SGG PYROSWISS's flexibility is best illustrated when the glass is incorporated into double glazed units. Solar control glass types such as SGG PARSOL, SGG ANTELIO and SGG COOL-LITE can also be easily incorporated, as can low emissivity coatings, such as SGG PLANITHERM and SGG EKO LOGIK for increased thermal insulation and in full compliance with document L.
The original clear fire resisting safety glass, combining 30 minutes (E30) fire resistance with safety glass charachteristics and flexible, multi-functional usage. SGG PYROSWISS allows almost the same versatility as conventional architectural glass, with high impact mechanical strength and tempered glass break-safe characteristics tested to Class A BS 6206:1981.
SGG SWISSFLAM LITE is a multi-laminated fire resisting and partially insulating glass, produced from sheets of high performance laminated safety glass, separated by a single, clear, colourless, andvanced intumescent interlayer. Developed to meet the new radiation control classification of Euronorm EN 357, SGG SWISSFLAM LITE's partially insulating abilities are so effective that even after 60 minutes fire exposure, the level of radiant heat transmitted through the glass is typically less than 8kWm3, when measured from 1 metre from the glass surface and provides more than 15 minutes of full insulation.
When single glazed, SGG SWISSFLAM LITE can be used for internal arease such as doors, screens or partitions of softwood, hardwood or steel construction, SGG SWISSFLAM LITE can either be supplied as a clear glass or opaque for areas requiring additional privacy.
SGG CONTRAFLAM LITE can be used as single glazing for internal areas, such as doors, screens and partitions of steel or timber construction in vertical or sloped applications. SGG CONTRAFLAM LITE can either be supplied in clear glass or in an extensive number of decorative or functional options, simply by replacing one pane of clear glass.
SGG VETROFLAM has been developed to meet the new radiation control classification of Euronorm EN 357 July 2000. As a 6mm thick single sheet the product provides in excess of 60 minutes integrity, and demonstrates a significant reduction in the transmission of radiated heat through the glass - typically less than 15kWm2 from a distance of 1 metre.
SGG CONTRAFLAM LITE is a multi-laminated fire resisting and partially insulating fire resisting glass. Produced from two sheets of tempered safety glass, separated by a single, clear, colourless advanced intumescent interlayer. The miniminal thickness of the product is 12mm, but may be increased for extra large panel sizes exceeding 1500 x 3000mm, to provide additional rigidity.
PowerGlaz is best described as the real green building cladding material. It not only replaces the traditional building material but also produces electricity from the Sun every day. For the first time Photovoltaic's(PV) can be combined with any Glass Specifications, producing the correct Shading Coefficient, the lowest possible U-Value and generating electricity for use in the building. PowerGlaz is an essential part of the Architects choice of cladding materials and provide him with the opportunity to design truly Low Carbon Green Building.
Fully certified to BS 476: Part 22 and in a thickness of 6mm. Providing 60 minutes integrity plus a significant reduction in the transmission of radiated heat. In single form SGG VETROFLAM provides asymmetrical fire resistance.
Single Glazing Available in clear, body tinted (SGG PARSOL grey, green or bronze), or decorative options including acid-etched (SGG PYROSWISS SATINOVO), patternedtextured glass (SGG PYROSWISS MASTERGLASS) and silk-screened ceramic frit designs-all fully certified to BS 476: Part 22. SGG PYROSWISS is available in a range of thicknesses from the standard 6mm, 8mm and 10mm increasing to 12mm, 15mm, 19mm and 25mm for windload or other pressure resistance applications.
The design of light into building is one of the fundamental concepts of architecture. Strong, safe and transparent, the LITEFLAM* fire-rated glass flooring system is not only elegant but allows up to 90 minutes insulation and 90 minutes integrity in use. From vision to reality, the Roger Wilde LITEFLAM* team is ready to work with you at all stages, from offering technical advice at design concept, through to a complete specialist installation service. The LITEFLAM* fire-rated glass flooring system can be used both internally and externally and has been tested with glass panels combining to give a span of 4 Metres width - The maximum size test bed available. The first 6060 rated LITEFLAM* fire-rated flooring installation was completed in November 2001 at Chanel's refurbished store in Old Bond Street, London. Since then, further LITEFLAM* fire-rated floors have been installed in private residences, large office developments, residential halls, pubs, restaurants and in commercial premises in Dublin, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cambridge, and in several locations in and around London. Other installations are already in progress in the UK, Eire and USA
Steel profile develops and sells profile systems in steel and stainless steel (stainless quality EN 1.e4404) for the glass door and sliding lots, facade, wall, window, and takpartier, both internally as externally in the office and retail buildings, airports, banks, embassies , prisons, schools, hospitals, servicehem etc. The profiles are uninsulated, insulated and fire insulation and can meet the requirements for, among other things, fire, ballistic and intrusion protection, cold and sound insulation, air and rain density.
SGG SWISSFLAM LITE may be incorporated into double glazed units when additional thermal insulation or sound reduction is required. Solar control glass types such as SGG PARSOL, SGG ANTELIO and SGG COOL-Lite can easily be accommodated, as can low emissivity products such as SGG PLANITHERM and SGG EKO LOGIK to achieve full compliance with Document L.
