A deluge system is similar to a pre-action system except the sprinkler heads are open and the pipe is not pressurized with air. Deluge systems are connected to a water supply through a deluge valve that is opened by the operation of a smoke or heat detection system. The detection system is installed in the same area as the sprinklers. When the detection system is activated water discharges through all of the sprinkler heads in the system. Deluge systems are used in places that are considered high hazard areas such as power plants, aircraft hangars and chemical storage or processing facilities. Deluge systems are needed where high velocity suppression is necessary to prevent fire spread.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) Gas, the fastest and most efficient extinguishing agent against fires in protected spaces, suffocates the fire within designated time and minimize the damage in protected spaces.The Fire Extinguishing system extinguishes the fire by means of CO2 gas. The system consists essentially of CO2 cylinders, main isolation valves, manifold, CO2 nozzles in compartment protected space, and pipe lines connecting these main parts. The system is to be designed by the required discharging time, CO2 cylinders quantity and which are stored in independent CO2 room.High pressure CO2 systems are used for the fire protection of machinery spaces, pump rooms, cargo holds, paint stores and galley exhaust ventilation ducts.
