Luke-warm or boiling hot water: the VEK supplies hot water to the kitchen sink within the split of a second with a temperature infinitely variably set between 30C and the boiling point. Once the desired temperature is reached, the appliance automatically cuts off.
Easy and safe operation
The VEK offers special comfort thanksto the automatic interval boiling function: when the water cools down, the VEK automatically switches on again. The VEK 5 L indicates by humming that the set temperature has been reached. A temperature limiter provides the required safety: if the water boils off unnoticed by the user, the VEK automatically cuts off.
Perfectly fits into the kitchen
Thanks to its low height, the neutral colours and its modern, easy-care design, the VEK perfectly fits into the kitchen.
The small storage water heaters VEN 5, with the srorage capacity of 5 liters, are an ideal solution where only small quantities of hot water are required. In the kitchen for dishwashing or in the bathroom to wash hands: the VEN 5 guaratees energy-saving supply of domestic hot water thanks to the short pipework and a highly efficient CFC-free thermal insulation made of EPS shells. The sink storages are offered in two different lines: the premium VEN 5 exclusiv is equipped with a high-quality robust water tank made of copper while the basic appliance VEN 5 classic is equipped with a synthetical water tank.
Compact conveniences offered by VEH 10 U
Depending on demand, the appliances can be offered as an above-sink version VEN 5 O or a below-sink version VEN 5 U. Thanks to their attractive design their outer appearance always suits the ambience. If installed in extremely cold rooms, the appliances are protected against frost damages thanks to the automatic frost protection.
Comfortable and efficient
The VEN 5 meets the most exacting demands to comfort thanks to its infinitely variable temperature range adjustable between 7 and 85 C. The appliances operate particularly efficiently with the energy-saving setting at 60C. At the same time, this temperature guarantees that scaling is minimized. The activable scalding protection offers additional safety to the user. The stand-by energy consumption was reduced by more than 5% to up 0, 22 kWh/24h.
Quick installation
These appliances offer extremely comfortable installation: already existing appliances can be easily and comfortably replaced - already mounted supports can be used and the VEN 5 is directly connected to the power mains by means of its connecting cable with the shockproof plug. Complicate wiring is not necessary. Cables which are let into the appliance from below can be easily hidden thanks to the spare cable space.

Convincing warm water comfort thanks to intelligent solutions OPTI MOD Function
Vaillant Gas Water Heaters atmoMAG owe their high warm water comfort to their integrated OPTI-MOD function. It ensures highest comfort with utmost efficiency. With two simple steps the users can adapt the atmoMAG to their individual requirements. OPTI. refers to the preselection of the appliances' water output between approx. 50% and 100%. As a rule the inlet water flow through the tap determines the outlet temperature. This method offers advantages with high inlet water temperatures. Since the incoming water is preheated, less gas is needed to reach the outlet temperature. This saves a lot of energy. .MOD: keeps the water temperature constant independently of how far the tap is opened. The burner flame adjusts itself automatically, thus the minimum gas rate required is used to heat the water up to the desired temperature chosen by the user.
The best starting sytsem for every requirement
All atmoMAG with OPTI-MOD function show the same high warm water comfort. However, their ignition systems may differ. The piezo ignition of the MAG XZ represents a perfect standard solution which has proven itself for decades. With increasing requirements on energy savings, the MAG XI is the one to count on. Its electronic ignition works with main connector or batteries. Giving up the permanent pilot flame leads to a remarkable saving of energy without interference in the various stages of operation. The batteries, if used, can easily be replaced at the front of the appliance. Their durability is a minimum of one year.
