The universal 8611 controller is especially designed for compact control system applications. It can be connected with every non-Bürkert Control valve by standard signal (4-20 mA, 0-10 V or PWM-output). The proportional & Integral (PI) process controller is equipped with many additional functions. The process value feedback can be supplied as one of three analog inputs; a standard signal (4-20 mA/0-10V)), frequency or RTD signal; directly to the universal controller. The process switching points can be set via a 4-20 mA or 0-10 V signal or with the keypad. Thanks to the proportional control capabilities, a wide range of control functions can be performed in a variety of liquids and gas medias.

The SL54USB-A offers increased relative humidity accuracy over the standard SL54USB. The SL54USB data loggers plug directly into the USB port of a PC for configuration then removed and placed where monitoring is required. After monitoring the data logger is placed back in the USB slot for data retrieval. They have the ability to record up to 8, 000 data points and have a measuring temperature range of -10°C to +85°C and 0 to 95%RH. The SL54USB data loggers are fully compatible with free software – TempIT-Lite allowing the logger to be set up and the data read and displayed in graphical format. TempIT-Lite can be upgraded to TempIT-Pro which providing additional features.
The batch controller is specially designed for use in neutral and slightly aggressive, solid-free liquids. The device is available in different models: A compact batch controller with integrated paddle-wheel sensor. A remote batch controller for panel or wall mounting for connection to Bürkert 8020 / 8030 / 8031 / 8041 / 8071 sensors or to a flow sensor from the market; sensors with open collector output, relay reed output or coil can be operated by this batch controller.
Pulsar’s MicroFlow-i delivers accurate, repeatable velocity measurement for liquid flow, either as an individual sensor or by providing HART communication protocol or a 4-20mA loop powered signal into a system. For flow volume measurement, velocity x area provides a cost-effective alternative to a channel restriction, such as a flume, and viable solution in situations where system hydraulics do not permit the installation of any primary measurement device.
MicroFlow-i’s extremely low power consumption makes it the ideal velocity solution for sewerage network monitoring (CSO) and all remote installations where mains power is unavailable.
It’s lightweight, compact design makes installation simple, especially within confined spaces and requires no interruption to normal operational flow.
For liquid low flow or flow failure alarm on cooling systems, water heaters or lubrication systems, the Platon LF flow switch is a rugged sensor with simple electrical reed switch output. Installed in a vertical line with flow upwards, normal flows lift the float in the sensor. A magnet encapsulated in the float then actuates a reed switch, giving contact closure. Should the flow drop to below the preset alarm level, the float falls to the rest position and the contacts open to give an alarm output.

The probe holder Type 8200 can be installed into pipes or tanks by using G2″ connection (using a Bürkert INSERTION fittings Type S020), G1″ connection, G1¼” connection, varivent connection, clamp connection, sanitary connection (according to DIN11851) or fixing kit for immersion fitting.
The 8619 multifunction transmitter/controller is a microprocessor transmitter/controller for connection of sensors which deliver raw signals for pH, O.R.P. and conductivity and flow via pulses. It is ideal for measurement and control and dosing processes e.g. in water treatment plants (like boiler, cooling tower or reverse osmosis systems) and food and pharma plants. Modularity offers high flexibility for adjusting it to the applications and so excellent price to functionality relation. Sophisticated electronics and state of the art control algorithms ensure that optimum process control is maintained at all times with minimal operator intervention.
The 8201 pH measuring system is suitable for measuring absolute pH values in liquids between pH 0 and pH 12 at medium temperatures of up to 140°C and process pressures of max. 6 bar. Due to its hygienic design and the robust glass-free layout, this model is particularly suitable for use in hygienic processes. An example would be the production of foods and active ingredients, during which the pH value of liquid mediums – including those which are viscous or contain solids – is measured.
Pneumatically-activated process valves can be controlled very easily using the TopControl ON/OFF type 8631. For example, these Bürkert types 2000, 2030, 2031, 2031K, 2652, 2655, 2658, 2672 and 2675. TopControl ON/OFF and pneumatic drive are connected to each other mechanically and form one optical and functional unit. Various levels of extension and electrical connection concepts are made possible by TopControl ON/OFF's modular construction. A position feedback is possible via inductive proximity switches or mechanical terminal switches. The terminal switches can be heightadjusted.
The Bürkert Tank Bottom Valve system is designed for control of ultra pure, sterile, aggressive or abrasive fl uids. Enables especially optimal filling and emptying vessels with less dead leg. The valve body consists of a block with no weld seam, machined out of high quality stainless steel. The Tank Bottom Valve has two welding bevels to ease the welding and valve positioning operations. The high quality diaphragms separate hermetically critical fl uids from the actuator. The pneumatic actuator can be controlled by pneumatic pilot valves (single pilot valves, valve islands and control heads). Control function A, normally closed by spring return.
The SideControl Positioner Type 8635 is an electropneumatic positioner for pneumatically actuated process valves with linear or part-turn actuators. It is available in the versions 8635 PA and 8635 S. Both versions are executed in two-conductor technology. With Type 8635 PA, communication and energy supply are via PROFIBUS PA whereas with Type 8635 S, the input signal serves for setpoint transmission and energy supply of the device simultaneously.
H&B Sensors manufacture self-regulating heaters that are designed to prevent the heater from overheating during changes in flow or process conditions. Designed primarily for operation under icing conditions, as the heater temperature increases so does its resistance thereby reducing the power draw allowing the heater to maintain a steady temperature.
The Miniature Heaters have a Ø1.5mm sheath diameter and are flexible enough to be formed into virtually any shape whilst still providing uniform thermal output over its entire length.
All heaters are manufactured with virtually non-hygroscopic materials and are hermetically sealed with a choice of terminations to suit most applications.
A universal, programmable temperature transmitter accepting most commonly used Pt100, thermocouple, mV and slide-wire sensors and generates a 4 to 20 mA transmission signal. Output range and other operating parameters are programmed using free software and USB configurator with no need for re-calibration. Isolation is a standard feature to overcome any potential ground loop effects. Two microprocessors operate together to ensure error-free transmission across the isolation barrier. A sensor referencing facility enables the transmitter to be accurately matched to a particular sensor.

This mounting gland enables the Duct or Remote sensor versions of the SEM161, SEM162 and SEM167 to be mounted into a duct. A seal is provided between the gland and the sensor stem as well as between the gland and the duct. Two mounting holes are provided.
The SEM310 is a HART 5, 6, or 7 compatible universal transmitter. It accepts RTD, Thermocouple, Potentiometer or millivolt input signals and converts them to the industry standard (4 to 20) mA transmission signal. Alternatively HART multidrop mode can be selected.
The SEM310 is programmed using a standard USB lead. The ATEX / IECEx version (SEM310X) is programmed with an ATEX / IECEx approved communication lead (USBX Config).
Both versions use our free configuration USBSpeedlink software downloaded from our web site. Standard features can also be programmed using HART communication.
The POD-3000-03 provides an optional active or passive current retransmission signal for our panel meter range. The POD simply plugs into the panel meter housing. 4 to 20mA, 0 to 20mA, or 0 to 10mA active or passive current retransmission signals can be programmed from the panel meter's front panel buttons or by RS485 comms where fitted. A maximium of 2 POD's can be fitted to any of the panel meters. Specifcations for the optional POD's can be seen in the panel meter datasheet and instruction sheets..
The AeroLogic Units come in 3 types. A single lamp unit, 1 or 2 lamp units and 4 lamp units with extra long 2 lamp. The units use the STER-L-RAY Germicidal Lamps which utilise tungsten filaments. The lamps are well suited for a variety of air and water purification applications, which require high ultraviolet intensity. A unique new feature of the AeroLogic is the use of a specially designed quartz sleeve. This protects the ultraviolet lamp from deposits of dirt and/or dust while insulation it from low air temperature and the cooling affects of high air velocities in the air duct. This insures optimum ultraviolet output (used on single lamp AERO Units).
Some of the Biolux units are constructed of stainless steel and the strip fixtures are constructed of polished chrome. The units irradiate small areas and exposed surfaces with direct germicidal ultraviolet rays and various configurations are available.
The Sanidyne units are constructed of tough, corrosion-resistant 304 Stainless Steel to insure a long life, disinfecting air and surfaces by means of germicidal irradiation. The unit is portable, compact and light weight so easily carried from one location to another. An unoccuopied room as large as 1, 000 sq. ft can be treated in one hour.
The Zenith ultraviolet meter is a sensitive, hand-held, ultraviolet meter; used to check the intensity of aging ultraviolet lamps and survey rooms utilizing an air sanitizer to ensure that the ultraviolet radiant exposure of personnel within the treated area is within acceptable limits.
Air is drawn into unit through washable electrostatic particulate filters (except Model RSM2680 which utilizes disposable filters). The air is forced into ultraviolet exposure chamber where it is irradiated by germicidal ultraviolet light (lamp quantity varies per model). An observation port provides positive indication of germicidal lamp operation. Purified air leaves exposure chamber through the louvered exhaust panel (which restricts ultraviolet radiation from passing into the room).
The Tank Master Liquid Storage Sanitizer consists of a germicidal ultraviolet lamp enclosed in a quartz sleeve, sealed to the static gland fitting and powered by the remote, plug-in, ballast The Tank Master design allows lamp/quartz sleeve assembly to be mounted horizontally, into the storage tank (submerged in the liquid contents) or suspended vertically from the top of the storage tank (partially immersed in the liquid contents).
Enjay UVI is based on a standard size of stainless steel insert module with UV tubes. The insert modules are equipped with a varying number of UV tubes depending on the air flow projected in the ventilation duct. The insert module can be installed in all ventilation ducts – both new and existing. Our standard UV products are dimensioned to sit upstream from VDI tested grease filters.
Our UVI systems always have a double, compulsory overriding safety system. The safety system is designed both to prevent ozone from leaking out of the ventilation system and to protect people from looking directly at exposed UV tubes.
Enjay UVI is mounted directly in the ventilation duct. Enjay provides standardized adapters for both circular ducts (from Ø315 mm up to Ø630 mm) and rectangular ducts of all sizes. The integrated safety system is enabled by means of hoses and micro switches. For correct deployment, please refer to the supplied installation instructions. The electrical connection is made to an earthed 1-phase 230 V, 10 A, which is to be connected via an external circuit breaker. Control system display should be located in a place where it is checked regularly by the service personnel.
All UV tubes should be cleaned regularly. How often depends on the kitchen’s load. If you forget to clean the tubes, the UV system will issue a reminder, both on the screen and as a sound. The UV tubes are cleaned by wiping them with a damp cloth. When the tubes are cleaned regularly, normally no detergent is required.
UV tubes have a lifespan of 12, 000 hours or 2 years, whichever occurs first. At that point they must be replaced. The control system issues a reminder when the life of the UV tubes is coming to an end.

Off-gases containing trace levels of un-reacted ozone must be passed through a thermal or catalytic type vent ozone destruct unit before venting to the atmosphere. Thermal ozone destruct units are suitable for all types of processes where catalytic poisons are present. The RB units include a heater, reaction chamber, suction fan, control system and are an energy-efficient solution.
