  • Can be over coated
  • Does not need priming
  • Good weather resistance
  • Water resistant
  • U V resistant
  • Excellent adhesion to most substrates
  • Formulated for use in Middle east conditions ( extreme weather )

Description
Seal flex is based on a specially developed polymer system which gives enhanced technical properties. It cures by loss of carrier to form a flexible seal. It is applied simply from the packing and can be finished neatly using suitable tooling. When cured it will be accommodates thermal and moisture movements. It can be over coated with most gloss or emulsion paints.

Instruction for use
Sealflex has excellent adhesion to most substrates used in construction, particularly concrete, mortar, block work, wood, anodized bronze. It also bonds very well to some painted surfaces, but it is advisable to carry out a site trail first to assess the suitability fo the particular coating in question.Priming is not generally required with this material, when using in dry, sound, well prepared joints or which have been reformed using resin based mortar. If any thing required, consult with the technical team of ORGANIX.

Design Criteria
Joints should be designed so that movement due to shrinkage and thermal change does not exceed the %22.15movement accommodation factor related to the joint width. Sealant depth must never exceed joint width.

Application
Apply the SEALFLEX BR in sufficient quantity to encapsulated fastener heads and completely seal the seam or crack being treated, extending the SEALFLEX BR 1 to 2 inches (2.5to 5 cm) on either side of the opening. A stiff-bristle brush should be utilized for working the SEALFLEX BR in to seams, cracks and alligatored areas. When sealing vertical seams on metal roof decks, the SEALFLEX BR should be worked up into the seam with a brush. On horizontal metal roof seams, the SEALFLEX BR should be applied in a 3 to 4 inch (7.5 to 10cm) strip, in 2 coats, to a total thickness of 60 to 80 wet mils (1, 524 to 2, 032 microns), centered over the seam. All seams must first be checked to assure that there is no more than ¼" (6 mm) deflection when pressure is applied below the seam. Add additional fasteners as necessary to minimize panel deflection.

Maintenance
If the sealant or system is damaged and the bond is intact, cut out the damaged area and replace.

Packing
Available in 20 kg pails , 5 kg buckets and 600ml catridge

Storage
SEALFLEX has a shelf life of twelve months from date of manufacture when stored in the original unopened container in dry, shaded conditions.
