| True Union Ball Check Valves Prevent reversal of flow in piping systems to protect pumps, filters and other process equipment with true union ball check valves manufactured from PVC, Corxan, CPVC and PPL. Line pressure moves the solid plastic ball off the elastomer seat, opening the valve. The back pressure seals the ball against the seat when the inlet flow stops. True union design enables easy installation and removal from piping system. FPM and EPDM seals, works in any direction expect downflow, optional foot valve screens can be added for pump priming. |

The percentage of flow through the valves with either flow curve is equal to the degree of opening. As the valves are opened or closed, the flow varies in direct proportion to the valve opening. This permits predictable, accurate control of the downstream flow rate with a 1/4-turn valve.
"The True Union Ball Valve is rated to 225 PSI at 70F. The "True Union" enables you to remove the valve from the system for maintenance without disturbing piping connections. EPDM seals and seats are standard (PTFE is an option) and designed to be compatible with aggressive fluids. The full port design ensures maximum flow at a low pressure drop".
The EA Series automated true union ball valve offers a low cost method of automating ball valves. Compared to competing brands that use "throw-away" (non-repairable) actuators, the EA Series is fully serviceable.
The all PVC construction of these true union ball valves eliminates rust or corrosion issues. This ensures that the valve will never stick, jam or fail to operate like a metallic valve might due to corrosion.
