"The flow rate controller is used in heating and cooling systems with circulation pumps. The controller automatically maintains flow at the set rate by measuring and immediately adjusting to any variation in pressure. No additional measurements are necessary and the correct quantity of water is supplied to all parts of the system under all operating conditions.
The flow rate controller maintains the flow at a constant rate that has been preset; the diaphragm responds to the pressure upstream of the regulating valve (via an internal impulse line) and dowstream. The valve settings directly refer to the volume flow; accordingly, the maximum volume flow is preset directly according to the diagram when the controller is fitted"

Triple Duty Valve "Triple Duty Valve primarily required on the discharge side of a centrifugal pump in a hydronic heating or cooling system. This valve functions as a shut-off valve, spring loaded silent check valve, and balancing valve. Triple Duty Valves are constructed from rugged cast iron castings that are machined to exacting specifications. These bodies have drilled flanges that are in accordance with ASME B16.1.The Keckley Style TDV has an automatic and silent operation. The disc will open when the line pressure is approximately PSI. As the line pressure approaches zero, the spring will close the disc to prevent flow reversal and water hammer. The flow through the valve can be from bubble tight shut-off to full flow by the acme rising stem." |
Hydra-Cell pressure regulating valves bypass system fluid to prevent excess system pressure. When a system discharge is completely closed such as a closed spray gun, closed valve or plugged nozzle Hydra-Cell pressure regulating valves bypass the total system fluid flow. They also balance system pressure for multiple-orifice operations, essentially "regulating" the system pressure through bypassing of "excess" fluid.Internals of a C Series pressure regulating valve.
The Hydra-Cell Valve design is simple: a tapered plunger with a valve seat. When excess pressure overcomes the adjustable spring pressure on the plunger, the plunger lifts off the seat, allowing fluid to bypass and reduce system pressure. When a Hydra-Cell pressure regulating valve is mounted in the discharge line, its' modified flow-through design reduces wear on the plunger and seat. Baffles on either side of the plunger and seat extend life by directing the flow around these internal components.
The sealless design eliminate fugitive emissions leakage and is ideal for fluids containing particulate.
For service, simply remove the top of the body and replace the worn internal components. Hydra-Cell Valves can be serviced in place without removing any fittings or plumbing.
