Our Products
We offer the best product range of Horizontal Gas Liquid Separators, Coalescer Separators, R Gas Liquid Separators, Vertical Gas Liquid Separators and Wright Austin T Gas Liquid Separators.
The Wright-Austin 31L series of in-line horizontal gas/liquid separators remove 99% of droplets and particles equal to or greater than 10 microns in a very compact design. As the moisture laden gas enters the separator, it encounters a curved, stationary blading structure welded to the inside of the vessel, and this causes a centrifugal force, propelling the droplets to the outer wall. The liquid coalesces and exits the separator's drain.
Model 31L Wright Austin horizontal air liquid separators have an in-line barrel orientation and side inlet connections and can be used for both horizontal or vertical down flow applications
Model 31L Coalescer Separators are designed for removal of water and oil mist 4 microns and larger from air and gas pipelines. The 31L is a custom fabricated horizontal gas liquid separator having a manufacturing lead time of 6-8 weeks. If the lead time is critical, please contact our office and obtain a lead-time estimate based upon the current manufacturing backlog.
Wright Austin R style air liquid separators are designed for liquid "slugs" or heavy liquid loads where a large reservoir to satisfy liquid hold-up requirements. As with all other Wright Austin gas/liquid separators, the R style will remove 99% of all liquid droplets and solid particles greater than or equal to 10 microns in size. Wright-Austin T style gas/liquid separators are used mainly in the chemical and process industries where a large volume of liquid needs to be separated from gases; they are also used as a flash or surge tank as well as a scrubber or demister ahead of a steam turbine.
R style gas/liquid separators have a two stage process for separation. The initial stage the liquid enters the inlet and is deflected downward, losing velocity, resulting in a majority of the liquid to accumulate within the reservoir. The remaining moisture laden gas passes up through a vaned element where the remaining moisture is separated by centrifugal force, coalescing within the reservoir. The resulting dry, clean gas flows upwards and exits through the outlet of the separator. Wright Austin accomplished this without complex baffles, deflectors and other structures that obstruct the flow-stream and this results in very low pressure drops.
R style gas/liquid separators are fabricated from carbon steel, 304SS, 316SS and can also be fabricated from exotic alloys when needed.
R style gas/liquid separators are available with ASME code stamp and CRN. All fabricated R style gas/liquid separators are designed in New Jersey (USA) in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division I.
The Wright-Austin 32L series of in-line vertical gas/liquid separators remove 99% of droplets and particles equal to or greater than 10 microns in a very compact design. As the moisture laden gas enters the separator, it encounters a curved, stationary blading structure welded to the inside of the vessel, and this causes a centrifugal force, propelling the droplets to the outer wall. The liquid coalesces and exits the separator's drain.
As with all Wright-Austin gas/liquid separators, there are no moving parts, they are self-cleaning and require no maintenance. Wright Austin gas liquid separators employ a patented Vortex Containment Plate (VCP) and combined with centrifugal action assures maximum separation of entrainment with minimal chances of reentrainment. Wright Austin accomplished this without complex baffles, deflectors and other structures that obstruct the flow-stream, resulting in very low pressure drops.
All Wright Austin Model 32L series air liquid separators are available with ASME code stamp and CRN. All fabricated 32L style gas/liquid separators are designed in New Jersey (USA) in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division I.

Wright Austin T style air liquid separators are designed to remove 99% of all liquid droplets and solid particles greater than or equal to 10 microns in size. Wright-Austin T style gas/liquid separators are used for steam, air and gas applications.
Moisture laden gas enters the T style separator and is deflected downwards in a centrifugal motion. The reduction in velocity separates out the liquid, which falls below and coalesces under the patented Vortex Containment Plate (VCP). The VCP prevents reentrainment of the liquid into the gas. The resulting dry, clean gas flows upwards and exits through the outlet of the separator. Wright Austin accomplished this without complex baffles, deflectors and other structures that obstruct the flow-stream and this results in very low pressure drops.
The smaller versions of the T style gas/liquid separators are available in cast iron, cast steel and cast 316SS. Larger and customized versions are fabricated from carbon steel, 304SS, 316SS and can also be fabricated from exotic alloys when needed.
Except for cast iron construction, T style gas/liquid separators are available with ASME code stamp and CRN. All fabricated T style gas/liquid separators are designed in New Jersey (USA) in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division I.
T-DTL Gas Liquid Separators Wright Austin high efficiency T style DTL gas liquid separators for horizontal applications are designed specifically for liquid droplet separation involving high solids content. T style DTL gas liquid separators have a conical shaped drain sump for better drainage. |
Wright Austin TS style air liquid separators are designed to remove 99% of all liquid droplets and solid particles greater than or equal to 10 microns in size. The TS style can handle a higher volume of entrained droplets/particles than the standard T style. Wright-Austin TS style gas/liquid separators are typically used for applications where higher than normal liquid loading causes a "slugging" problem, common to refinery and chemical plant applications. TS gas/liquid separators are used upstream of gas turbines, adsorption towers, gas scrubbers and steam generator outlets.

This version of Wright Austin cast iron air/liquid separators has an integral drain trap, making it easier to install and very compact. The integral trap automatically ejects the condensate at predetermined levels without loss of line pressure.
ST and 31L-ST gas/liquid separators usually ship within 7-10 days after receipt of an order. If the lead time is critical, please contact our office and obtain a lead-time estimate based upon the current manufacturing backlog.
